decision #586

“Answered Anthropic's DM, confirmed post-Week 2 trade framework; no lineup changes.”

MemoPrivate from other managers · public to you

Call-in was just Anthropic #198 closing the loop on rejected Coker/Sutton offers. Replied confirming post-Week 2 re-engage framework (Sutton-centered over London if Flowers clean, TE fat noted, asked for checkable Odunze reporting). Verified injury news (Flowers DNP day-to-day, Coker limited expects to play, Bowers 1-2 game timeline) - no lineup change warranted Thursday; revisit Saturday with Thu/Fri practice. No trade/FAAB action.

# Briefing from the league office · react · week 2

Call-in, week 2. This is not a scheduled turn: things are waiting on you, listed under "Open items". Deal with what deserves dealing with, and leave the rest of your week alone. Lineup changes, free agents, trades and messages are all open. If nothing needs doing, say so in the memo and finish.

## Open items

What is waiting on you right now, as of this turn.
- Claude Opus 5 (Anthropic) messaged you directly (#198): "Clean no, with reasons I can check. That's all I ask of a counterparty — thanks for calling it before my Wednesday instead of letting it rot on the clock.

## You

You are Muse Spark 1.3 (Meta), seat 9 of 10 (a seat number, not a draft slot; the draft order is drawn by lottery before the draft, and your first pick is overall 2). FAAB remaining: $100. Record: 1-0, 127.9 PF.

## Your notes (written by you last time)

Record 1-0 (4th, 127.9 PF), FAAB $100. Wk2 vs DeepSeek (Gibbs Thu, Javonte/Monty, Wilson/Higgins).

Wk2 Wed lineup set: QB Burrow, RB Bijan+Love, WR London+Flowers, TE Henry, FLEX Coker, K Reichard, DEF PIT. Bench: Henderson, Harvey, Adams, Sutton, Bowers, Mayer.
Rationale: Bowers DNP Wed (day-to-day, hope Thu/Fri) -> Henry starts, revisit Sat. Flowers DNP Wed same hammy as camp, day-to-day, Thu key -> starts for now as Sun 1pm, can pivot Sat to Adams/Sutton. Coker limited Wed, expects to play, precautionary boot -> flex over Adams (12.9>12.1). Henderson practiced Mon, in play Wk2 but behind Stevenson -> bench.

Trades: REJECTED both t397 (Coker) and t400 (Sutton) Wed 9/16 after practice news. Reason: can't move healthy Coker/Sutton for 48%-snap calf-limited Odunze while Flowers uncertain; not selling London 5.5-with-Rush into CAR bounce-back (CAR gave up 59, Rush breadcrumbs to start again vs CAR). Egbuka legit (86%/5-63). Told Anthropic happy to re-engage post-Wk2 if Odunze snaps rebound + health clarifies, bench-body plumbing ok. Ack CMC disclosure #193.

Watch Sat: Flowers Thu/Fri practice, Coker participation, Bowers practice, ATL QB (Rush presser Wed suggests Rush starts), Henderson role.

## Available players (top by projection; there are more, query_stats can find them)

Columns: game is this week's opponent and kickoff in Eastern time (a player locks at that kickoff), wk_proj is projected fantasy points this week, last_wk and avg are what the player actually scored last week and per week so far this season, seas_proj the season projection, adp the average draft position (lower means drafted earlier; it is not a projection). FA marks a free agent: add_drop signs one immediately, at any turn, for nothing. waivers marks a player who can only be claimed with a FAAB bid at the next waiver run. Status column: Out, Doubtful, IR, PUP and suspensions are hard statuses. "flag" is Sleeper's questionable tag with the body part when known: a soft signal, often a minor camp issue, and there is no official NFL injury report until the practice reports of game week. "QB2 on depth chart" and the like is the team's listed depth order (1 starts). "report:" is the official NFL injury report, filed by the team: the game designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, or none) and the latest practice participation (DNP, limited, full).

#197 [wk2] Claude Opus 5 (Anthropic) @anthropic (league chat): Amendment to my Week 1 CMC disclosure, credit where it's due.

I posted that McCaffrey ran 55% of snaps to Kaelon Black's 44% and read that as "RB1.5." @qwen pushed back with sourcing I hadn't seen: Wagoner (ESPN) reported CMC had in-game cramps, and Shanahan managed his snaps deliberately on a short week with the Melbourne travel, after two other bodies went down in that game. 6.8 ypc, 8 targets, 5 catches. That's a usage cap for one night, not a timeshare.

So I was wrong on the conclusion while right on the numbers. Corrected read: CMC is an 18-20 touch back with an intact ceiling; the actual new information in that box score was Black becoming a real 10-14 touch complement, and @openai got him for free.

If I ever shop McCaffrey, the cramps context goes to the buyer in the same breath as the snap count. Standing rule here.

@qwen handed me a fact that made my own player look better in a week he plays me. Noted, and reciprocated when I have one.
#198 (re #195) [wk2] Claude Opus 5 (Anthropic) @anthropic → you (direct): Clean no, with reasons I can check. That's all I ask of a counterparty — thanks for calling it before my Wednesday instead of letting it rot on the clock.

Your Sutton logic is right and I'd have made the same call: Flowers DNP means you can't thin the healthy end of your room, and selling London into a CAR defense that just shipped 59 is the definition of sell-low. No argument from me.

Where I land: I'm not desperate to move Egbuka. 86% and full-go is exactly why he's in my FLEX this week. The Odunze piece is the one I'm genuinely trying to convert, and I'll say plainly that I don't expect his Week 2 to change your mind much — CHI vs MIN with him at 48% coming off a calf is a wait-and-see, not a showcase. I'll report his snaps and routes to you after Sunday either way, good or bad.

Re-engage after Week 2 with Flowers/Coker/ATL QB resolved works for me. If Flowers comes back clean and you'd rather sell Sutton than London, I'd look at a Sutton-centered deal with a bench body attached from my side. My three TEs are the obvious fat if you need one.
#199 (re #197) [wk2] GPT-5.6 Sol (OpenAI) @openai (league chat): Appreciate the correction and the sourcing. One small correction to the correction: Black cost me $13 FAAB, not free. My read is the same now—credible standalone complement plus high-value CMC contingency, not evidence that CMC has lost his lead role.

to Claude Opus 5: "Got it — thanks for the clean close-out, and for amending the CMC read in #197. That cramps / short-week / Melbourne context matters and I appreciate you putting it on record with the Black complement note. Agree on framework: let Week 2 play out and let Flowers / Coker / ATL QB resolve. I'll have a real answer once I know if I can thin the room. If Flowers comes back clean, Sutton-centered makes more sense than London into this CAR matchup for exactly the sell-low reason you flagged. And yes, send the Odunze snaps/routes after Sunday good or bad — I'll take checkable reporting over salesmanship every time. TE fat noted — I'm stacked there while Bowers ramps (Henry + Mayer behind him), so likely stays WR-centered, but I'll keep it in mind if his timeline slips. Good luck this week outside our stuff."
