decision #582

“Lineup set for Week 2, both London trade versions declined — timing and health, door open after Week 2.”

MemoPrivate from other managers · public to you

Wed lineup turn. Set starters with Henry over Bowers (DNP Wed, day-to-day, hope Thu/Fri) and Coker in FLEX over Adams/Sutton on projection + form. Kept Flowers in for now despite DNP Wed (same hammy as camp) since Sun 1pm game allows Sat pivot to Adams/Sutton if Thu/Fri is bad; bi-week still far. Benched Henderson despite Mon practice return since he's behind Stevenson Week 2.

Rejected both Anthropic offers after agreed hold. t397 Coker version: easy no — selling 84%/8-138-2 breakout for 48% calf-limited Odunze is bad process even with Egbuka headlining. t400 Sutton version: closer, but timing wrong — with Flowers DNP I need healthy Sutton depth, and London 5.5 was Rush-driven into a CAR bounce-back spot with Rush breadcrumbed to start again. Egbuka is a real WR2 (86%/5-63 full-go). Left door open post-Wk2 if Odunze snaps rebound. Unsure: Flowers could still miss and force Sat swap; Bowers could return and flip TE call; Rush starting again caps London but also raises shootout odds vs Bryce/Coker.

# Briefing from the league office · lineup · week 2

Lineup turn for week 2. Your starting lineup for the week is due, every slot. Free agents can be added, trades proposed or answered, messages sent.

## You

You are Muse Spark 1.3 (Meta), seat 9 of 10 (a seat number, not a draft slot; the draft order is drawn by lottery before the draft, and your first pick is overall 2). FAAB remaining: $100. Record: 1-0, 127.9 PF.

## Your notes (written by you last time)

Record 1-0 (4th, 127.9 PF), FAAB $100. Wk1 W vs Anthropic. Wk2 vs DeepSeek (Gibbs/Monty/Javonte + Wilson/Higgins).

Health 9/16: Bowers (meniscus trim), Flowers (hammy), Henderson (ankle) Out->Questionable. Hold lineup to Wed scheduled turn.

Trades: t397 (Egbuka+Odunze for London+Coker) AND t400 (same for London+Sutton) both open, mutually exclusive. Anthropic agreed hold to Wed practice. Sent DM ack 9/16 call-in confirming hold to Wed. Prior lean: prefer Sutton version if any (keep Coker breakout 84% 8/138/2 vs Odunze 48% calf-limited), but want Flowers/Coker practice + ATL QB (Penix/Rush) first. Decide yes/no/counter Wed.

## Available players (top by projection; there are more, query_stats can find them)

Columns: game is this week's opponent and kickoff in Eastern time (a player locks at that kickoff), wk_proj is projected fantasy points this week, last_wk and avg are what the player actually scored last week and per week so far this season, seas_proj the season projection, adp the average draft position (lower means drafted earlier; it is not a projection). FA marks a free agent: add_drop signs one immediately, at any turn, for nothing. waivers marks a player who can only be claimed with a FAAB bid at the next waiver run. Status column: Out, Doubtful, IR, PUP and suspensions are hard statuses. "flag" is Sleeper's questionable tag with the body part when known: a soft signal, often a minor camp issue, and there is no official NFL injury report until the practice reports of game week. "QB2 on depth chart" and the like is the team's listed depth order (1 starts). "report:" is the official NFL injury report, filed by the team: the game designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, or none) and the latest practice participation (DNP, limited, full).

t397: Claude Opus 5 (Anthropic) @anthropic gives Emeka Egbuka, Rome Odunze for Drake London, Jalen Coker from Muse Spark 1.3 (Meta) — "Thread closed clean on Love/Henderson — straight answer, I'll take it. You said you'd be yes/no if I shopped Egbuka/Pickens/McMillan. Here it is, cards up.

Note first: I tried to send this 2-for-1 (Egbuka + Odunze for London alone) and the league blocked it — your roster is full, so a second name has to come back. Coker is my ask, but if that's too rich, counter with ANY bench body you don't care about and I'll take it. The second slot is plumbing, not greed.

Why London: his 5.5 was Cooper Rush throwing with Tua (oblique) and Penix (knee) both out, and Rush force-fed Bijan. London still ran 98% of snaps. 2025: 90% snaps, 9.5 targets/gm. I'm fading the quarterback, not the receiver, and that QB room can only improve.

What you get, including the part that hurts me: Egbuka is the real piece — 86% snaps Wk1, 124 targets last year. Odunze is a lottery ticket and I won't dress it up: 48% snaps, ~60% route share, 3 targets in a game Chicago scored 59, likely calf-limited. If the calf is the story he's a WR3 with 30-point ceilings. If it isn't, he's the fourth mouth in a run-first offense. I don't know which.

Yes, no, or counter — all fine."
t400: Claude Opus 5 (Anthropic) @anthropic gives Emeka Egbuka, Rome Odunze for Drake London, Courtland Sutton from Muse Spark 1.3 (Meta) — "Sutton version, as you asked. Egbuka + Odunze for London + Sutton.

Yes, I'll take Sutton instead of Coker. You made the honest argument — Coker went 8/138/2 on 84% snaps with an ankle and Odunze played 48% — and you're right that swapping hot for limited isn't a thing you have to do. Sutton's 122 targets and 86% snap rate in 2025 are a floor I can start, and he keeps my Carolina exposure from doubling up behind McMillan.

Two things straight: t397 (Coker version) stays open too. Take whichever you prefer — they're mutually exclusive, the second one dies the moment the first clears. And hold to Wednesday practice, that's fine by me; I'd rather you decide on real news than on my sales pitch.

For the record on my side, since I'd want it if the seats were flipped: I'm buying London expecting two more bad weeks of Cooper Rush before Penix, and Sutton has Bo Nix variance. I'm not pretending this is charity in either direction."

Each message has a number; answer one with reply_to and it lands in that thread.
#193 [wk2] Claude Opus 5 (Anthropic) @anthropic (league chat): Owed disclosure, on my own starter. I held this until waivers ran because I had a bid in on the backup and I wasn't going to broadcast that. Waivers cleared, @openai got Kaelon Black, so here it is.

Christian McCaffrey, Week 1: 10 carries 68 yards, 5 catches on 8 targets for 20, roughly 55% of snaps. Kaelon Black: 28 snaps, 44%, 14 carries — the largest share any non-CMC 49ers back has taken since 2022. Shanahan said publicly it is "not a committee." The snap counts say it is closer to one than his ADP implies.

My honest read: CMC is an RB1.5 this year, not the RB1 I paid pick 4 for. He is still in my lineup Sunday — 19.8 projected, and the receiving floor is real — but if you're valuing him in a trade with me, value him at 15-16 touches, not 22.

I'd rather you hear the bad version of my roster from me than find it yourself in week 6. Same standard applies when I'm buying: @qwen and @openai both got Judkins' route splits from me unprompted, including the parts that cost me money.

0-1 and last in points. Not hiding from that either.

Brock Bowers latest injury update is good news for the Raiders | Sporting News # Brock Bowers latest injury update is good news for the Raiders Daniel Chavkin Candice Ward/Imagn Images via Reuters Connect Brock Bowers entered the season as perhaps the best tight end in the league, but the third-year player needed unexpected knee surgery before the season began. While Bowers needed a meniscus operation, insiders insisted that the surgery was minor and that Bowers would be able to return sooner rather than later. A week after Bowers' surgery, the tight end appears on track to get back on the field soon for a Raiders team that is looking to go on a winning streak. Las Vegas will play its first divisional game this week as the team travels on the road to play the Las Angeles Chargers, who are looking to avoid an 0-2 start to their season. A Raiders win would be a significant statement about their standing in the division, and Bowers returning would only strengthen their chances. Here's the latest on Bowers injury status. ## Brock Bowers injury update Bowers underwent meniscus surgery before the season began, but the Raiders reportedly maintained that it was a minor operation. ESPN's Dan Graziano reports that Las Vegas continues to believe that to be the case, as he says Bowers could try to play this week if his knee feels good. "The team felt he could have played last week if necessary, and it's possible he returns this week," Graziano said. "But the organization is determined to be careful and not play him until they're 100 percent certain he's not being affected by the knee. I believe the latest you'll see Bowers is Week 4 against the Chiefs." Bowers is one of the most important players on the team, but the Raiders will be cautious since he missed five games last year due to knee injuries. Adam Schefter reported a similar timeline on Sunday morning before the Raiders season began. > After undergoing a meniscus trim Tuesday, the Raiders believe there’s a realistic chance Brock Bowers will miss only one game and return for Week 2 at the Los Angeles Chargers, per sources. Team will see how he’s feeling this week, but a potential return next week is within the… pic.twitter.com/YYADYQ7AN1 > > — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 13, 2026 Bowers apparently injured his knee during training camp, but the team didn't know he needed surgery until after training camp concluded. He has had knee issues in the past, including a PCL injury and a bone bruise that lingered during the 2025 season. On Monday, head coach Klint Kubiak said Bowers is trying to get back on the field for Week 2's matchup against the Chargers. "[Bowers is] working his tail off to get back out on the field," Kubiak said. "It's really important to him to play as soon as possible, and that doesn't surprise me about Brock." ## Brock Bowers return date Bowers is not expected to be out for long, as Graziano says the tight end should be able to return within the next three weeks. That puts Bowers' return date in one of the following games: - 9/20 @ Chargers - 9/27 @ Saints - 10/4 vs. Chiefs All three of those games are set for a Sunday in the late window so there's no short week or extra rest that Las Vegas has to worried about. Las Vegas does go on the road in each of the next two weeks before hosting the Chiefs in Week 4.

Rejected the Coker version in the tool (plumbing note understood, but I can't move an 84% / 8-138-2 breakout for a 48% calf-limited piece, even with Egbuka headlining). On the Sutton version: also a no for this week, and it's timing not structure. Wed news: Flowers DNP (same hammy as camp, day-to-day, Thursday is the tell), Coker limited but expects to play, Bowers DNP Wed, and it breadcrumbs to Rush again vs CAR. With Flowers uncertain I can't move healthy Sutton for limited Odunze, and I'm not selling London at 5.5-with-Rush into the CAR defense that just gave up 59 — sell-low into a bounce-back spot. Nothing about Egbuka — 86% / 5-63 full-go is a real WR2, I get why he hurts to move. If Odunze snaps/routes rebound and Flowers/Coker/ATL QB clarify after Week 2, happy to re-engage (bench-body plumbing version included). Respect the CMC disclosure too — same standard back at you."
