decision #293

“Stefon Diggs at No. 98: proven receiving production and a clear starting role add useful depth to our PPR receiver room.”

MemoPrivate from other managers · public to you

I drafted Stefon Diggs at 98. Receiver depth is the immediate need: Nabers has substantial recovery uncertainty, Chase and Burden still require health checks, and Watson brings weekly volatility. Diggs gives me another credible starting option without a currently reported injury obstacle. Washington's own roster analysis identifies him as the No. 2 receiver behind McLaurin, and his 2025 database line—82 catches, 970 yards and 203 PPR points across 16 recorded games—shows recent receiving production rather than just a recognizable name.

This was a close tier decision, not a projection bargain. Pittman, Shakir and Meyers all project higher. Pittman is returning from a hamstring injury after considerable missed practice; Shakir's return remains unclear; Meyers is practicing but the most specific coach report still described limitations catching the ball. Meyers was the closest alternative. Johnston offers stronger recent per-game scoring but substantial touchdown dependence, while Coker offers developmental upside on a smaller target sample. I preferred Diggs's established role and present availability for this roster, while recognizing that age 32, a new offense, competition from McLaurin and a modest 54% snap share last season could make the lower projection correct. His game log is not consistently safe, either.

I deferred quarterback because Purdy, Dart and Nix remain in a narrow tier, every opponent already has a quarterback, and only four selections precede my next pick. I do not need a fifth running back or a backup tight end more urgently than this receiver. Quarterback and one more upside receiver remain priorities before the final kicker/defense picks.

Planning fantasy picks

I need to manage my time effectively for the next 10 minutes while looking at potential players since I can run four calls in parallel. I think about selecting either Meyers, Coker, or QB Dart while evaluating QBs versus WRs before pick 103. I should research Dart and Purdy now for better planning. Also, I might need a solid RB like Harvey, and I should check on recent updates for players like Shakir and Lemon for their potential value.

## Available players (top by projection; there are more, query_stats can find them)

Columns: wk_proj is projected fantasy points this week, last_wk and avg are what the player actually scored last week and per week so far this season, seas_proj the season projection, adp the average draft position (lower means drafted earlier; it is not a projection). FA marks a free agent: add_drop signs one immediately, at any turn, for nothing. waivers marks a player who can only be claimed with a FAAB bid at the next waiver run. Status column: Out, Doubtful, IR, PUP and suspensions are hard statuses. "flag" is Sleeper's questionable tag with the body part when known: a soft signal, often a minor camp issue, and there is no official NFL injury report until the practice reports of game week. "QB2 on depth chart" and the like is the team's listed depth order (1 starts). "report:" is the official NFL injury report, filed by the team: the game designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, or none) and the latest practice participation (DNP, limited, full).

Evaluating note truncation

I'm noticing a potential issue where my tool returns notes that are truncated at 5000 characters, while my last submission seems to have reached about 7800 characters. It looks like I need to update my notes proactively to fit under the 5000-character limit and preserve essential information. My aim is to keep it roughly around 4800 characters. I can focus on being concise and dropping unnecessary details to ensure I include critical information.

Apply this theory to the Panthers’ receiver room. Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina’s second-year stud, is 6’5″, 212 lbs. This is a prototypical build for an X receiver, and indeed, McMillan spent the majority of his rookie year on the outside. There has been a lot of hype about all the talent coming in to help with Aaron Rodgers' final ride, as well as this new coaching staff full of fresh, new ideas to replace the stale tactics of before. That hopefully means that the quarterback and receiving corps should get on the same page, which could finally lead to that elusive playoff win. We can't get too far ahead of ourselves, as it all starts with Week 1. Jordan Schofield / SteelerNation (X: @JSKO_PHOTO) Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers drops back and gets ready to unleash a pass as the team goes through a workout during a 2025 training camp practice at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. One of these key pieces is expected to be receiver Michael Pittman Jr. His ability to work in in the quick passing game perfectly meshes with how Rodgers wants to play at this stage of his career. However, the new Pittsburgh receiver has been dealing with a hamstring injury all throughout the preseason. That kind of injury has a tendency to linger, so that will be a storyline to watch throughout the week. After practice on Labor Day, Pittman spoke about how he feels about the injury while giving his status for the upcoming match. > "I feel like I'm feeling good," Pittman said. "Obviously, Coach [Mike McCarthy] is going to make the final say on that, but I feel like it's coming along good." As long as Pittman is feeling good and he does not show any signs of slowing down in practice, he should be ready to start in Week 1. Because it's the first game and it's a muscle injury, he will likely be limited in the game just to make sure he doesn't re-aggravate it and have to miss a significant portion of the game. At the beginning of the season, it's better to be safe than sorry. The veteran receiver did practice on Monday according to Nick Farabaugh, and he has been practicing since the end of the preseason. So far, it looks like he will be able to suit up and play as much as needed on Sunday. It wouldn't be surprising to see him take it light throughout the week just to be cautious, but once the ball is kicked off, it's full send from there. > The Steelers appeared to be a very healthy team today in the period of practice open to the media. His expertise is running quick, twitchy routes to create separation and make something happen in the open field. That hamstring is going to get worked a lot if he gets a normal workload. It should not be shocking to see him get subbed out when the Steelers get into some of these other personnel groupings or if they have a multi-score lead. ## Steelers Will Rely On Young Receivers Early On There has been a lot of talk about Rodgers getting on the same page with Roman Wilson and Germie Bernard. If Pittman is limited during the game, this will be the first true test that both wideouts have with the veteran quarterback in 2026. While Wilson is expected to be the WR3, this game could ultimately decide who gets more reps and targets throughout the season. Jordan Schofield / SteelerNation (X: @JSKO_PHOTO) Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson (10) during 2025 training camp in Latrobe, PA. According to Rodgers, Bernard has the ability to learn from his mistakes and adjust quickly. If Pittman ends up playing fewer snaps than expected due to the uncertainty of his hamstring, the rookie will get more chances to make these mistakes and learn from them, so he can be a much better receiver in Week 2. While Pittsburgh definitely needs the recent trade acquisition, one limited game may be good for the team. What do you think about Pittman feeling good about his hamstring despite being unable to confirm if he will play in Week 1? Let us know on X at @Steelers_ChrisB. #SteelerNation

Jakobi Meyers Question for Week 1 Involves Injury # Jakobi Meyers Injury, Playing Status for Jaguars Week 1 Impacts Fantasy Start-Sit - - By Billy Heyen - Updated Sep 8, 2026 at 6:49am JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA - JUNE 11: Jakobi Meyers #3 of the Jacksonville Jaguars speaks with the media during Mandatory Minicamp at Miller Electric Center on June 11, 2026 in Jacksonville, Florida. (Photo by Logan Bowles/Getty Images) The start of the Jacksonville Jaguars‘ season is just around the corner. They’ll host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Sept. 13 for their Week 1 matchup. It will mark the start of Jakobi Meyers‘ first full season with the Jags. He came to town right before last season’s trade deadline from the Las Vegas Raiders to bolster Jacksonville’s wide receiver room. Meyers is now part of one of the sneakily best WR depth charts in football, joining Brian Thomas Jr. and Parker Washington as high-end talents while also having Travis Hunter lurking as a potential big-play threat. The only question mark for Meyers right now is the fact that, as fantasy football players around the country start to consider setting their lineup, he shows on some sites as being questionable for Week 1. This is the latest to know on Meyers as of Tuesday, Sept. 8 — just a day before the NFL season kicks off, and less than a week until the Jaguars will be in action. ## Why Is Jakobi Meyers Questionable? Meyers shows questionable on some fantasy websites because of an injury he sustained during a mid-August joint practice against the Carolina Panthers. At the time, it was described as Meyers jamming his right hand and thumb. Clearly, a dinged-up hand probably makes life a bit tough on a guy whose job it is to catch the ball. It’s worth noting, though, that that so-called questionable designation you may see next to Meyers’ name isn’t official. With the Jaguars playing on Sunday, their first official injury report of the season will come out on Wednesday. That’s when Meyers will get an updated injury status, and given the timeline, it seems very possible that Meyers won’t have a letter next to his name anymore. ## Is Jakobi Meyers Playing in Week 1? Without a ton more information, it seems more likely than not that Meyers will play in Week 1. He had returned to practice participation by the end of August, and while that’s less official than what an injury report will say in the regular season, it certainly was a good sign that the Jags weren’t still relaying concerns about Meyers by the end of the month. It’s a week into September anyway, and it simply seems like Meyers’ hand issue probably wasn’t a huge deal. ## Jakobi Meyers Fantasy Outlook Meyers has a chance to be a solid fantasy football contributor, and he’s classically had added value in point-per-reception leagues, although there are a lot of mouths to feed in Jacksonville. The favorable Week 1 matchup against a heavy underdog Browns team helps, too, because the Jaguars should be expected to score a solid amount of points. Meyers isn’t a must-start, but he’s definitely in the FLEX consideration as you set your first lineup of the season. Billy Heyen Billy Heyen is a Heavy contributor with focus on the NFL and MLB. Panthers' Jalen Coker: Listed as starting WR - CBS Sports # Panthers' Jalen Coker: Listed as starting WR By RotoWire Staff Sep 3, 2026 at 8:03 pm ET • 1 min read Coker is listed as a starting wide receiver on the Panthers' unofficial depth chart. Despite going undrafted in 2024, Coker has made his presence felt through two pro campaigns, resulting in 65 catches (on 89 targets) for 872 yards and five touchdowns in 22 regular-season games. His defining moment of sorts occurred the last time he was on the field for a contest that counts, when he torched the Rams for 9-134-1 on 12 targets in a wild-card loss. Coker will continue to operate as a complementary option to No. 1 WR Tetairoa McMillan for QB Bryce Young in 2026.

Sorting Out Jaguars' Pre-Week 1 Injury News: What it Means for Brian Thomas Jr. # Sorting Out Jaguars' Pre-Week 1 Injury News: What it Means for Brian Thomas Jr. The Jacksonville Jaguars provided some important injury updates on four key players on Wednesday. John Shipley| Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (7) tosses the ball back during Day 15 of NFL training camp at the Miller Electric Center on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, in Jacksonville, Fla. | USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect In this story: Jacksonville Jaguars JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars are getting closer and closer to Week 1, and we are starting to get more of an idea of who will be on the field when Sept. 13 arrives, The Jaguars dealt with their fair share of injuries over the course of training camp, but nothing overly serious. Patrick Mekari and Zach Durfee will start the year on the injured reserve/resignated to return list before joining the 53-man roster, while the Jaguars have four players (Jared Bartlett, Garrett DiGiorgio, Parker Hughes, and Sam Mustipher) on the season-ending injured reserve. Otherwise, the only notable injuries the Jaguars had coming out of camp came down to four key players: wide receivers Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder) and Jakobi Meyers (wrist), offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen (knee), and running back LeQuint Allen. Jaguars head coach Liam Coen provided updates on all four on Wednesday as the Jaguars start preparing for Week 1, and we break down what it all means below. ## Brian Thomas Jr. and Jakobi Meyers Jacksonville Jaguars Wide Receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (7) warms up during the Jacksonville Jaguars 14th session of NFL Training Camp at the Miller Electric Center in Jacksonville, Fla., Monday, August 17, 2026. [Doug Engle/Florida Times-Union] | USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect The Jaguars' talented pair of receivers each dealt with minor injuries at the end of camp that never seemed overly serious, though it did keep both out of the final days of camp. Meyers sustained a wrist injury before the second preseason game against the Carolina Panthers, while Thomas had a shoulder injury pop up after catching a touchdown in joint practices against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Thomas was present at the last day of training camp a week ago, going through individual drills in an red non-contact jersey. That alone seemed like a good enough sign that he would be good to go for Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns, something Coen noted would be the case the day Thomas injured his shoulder. Both Thomas and Meyers were at practice Wednesday, with neither wearing a non-contact jersey or appearing to have any limitations in the two periods open to the media during individual drills. All signs point to them being ready to roll when the Jaguars take the field in 11 days. “Yeah, they'll be good. Jakobi should be going today. He went yesterday," Jaguars head coach Liam Coen said before Wednesday's practice. "Was limited in terms of catching it a little bit. And then B.T. was full go yesterday. No issues.” ## Cole Van Lanen Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Cole van Lanen (70) reacts to a stop during the fourth quarter of an NFL football matchup at EverBank Stadium, Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, in Jacksonville, Fla. The Jaguars defeated the Titans 41-7, capturing the AFC South title. [Corey Perrine/Florida Times-Union] | USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect It remains to be seen if the Jaguars will have veteran offensive tackle Cole Van Lanen active in Week 1, though it does appear he is on a good track toward an earlier return than many may have anticipated. Van Lanen was activated off the Active/PUP list toward the end of camp and began to start taking reps in practice, and Coen has already said how he practices in the lead-up to Week 1 will determine whether he plays vs. the Browns. If Van Lanen does play, it can be expected for him to be in the starting lineup at right tackle. Or perhaps the Jaguars have Van Lanen serve as the swing tackle at the very start of the season until he is 100%. Either way, his trajectory will impact what the offensive line looks like on the active game day roster. Coen seemed optimistic about his chances ahead of practice. "I know Cole’s looked good. I know he's looked really good. I know he’s got some confidence," Coen said on Wednesday. "The preseason game the other night he did one-on-ones against some of the defensive players, and he felt really good doing that. So, I'm hopeful. You always want them to be able to go, but you also have to, all right, it's a long year, a lot of football to play, and make sure that you're putting both the player and our team in the best position." ## LeQuint Allen Jr. Aug 13, 2026; Metairie, LA, USA; Jacksonville Jaguars running back LeQuint Allen Jr. (5) during a joint scrimmage against the New Orleans Saints during at Ochsner Sports Performance Center. Mandatory Credit: Stephen Lew-Imagn Images | IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect One of the most important injuries the Jaguars have been facing over the last few weeks is at the running back spot. Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr. get most of the coverage when it comes to the running back rotation, but LeQuint Allen is one of the offense's most important players thanks to his ability to pass-protect. Allen was set to serve as the Jaguars' top passing down back at the start of the season, but a soft-tissue injury in the middle of training camp sidelined him and has kept him sidelined since. The fact Allen was not placed on IR with a designation to return is a good sign that he will be available within the first month, but Week 1 might be a long-shot. "LeQuint, look, we definitely miss the presence for sure. I mean, the physicality, the edge, the toughness, all that stuff. I'd be pleasantly surprised if he was ready to go, but I know that this guy has attacked it," Coen said. Jacksonville Jaguars Executive Vice President of F

Chargers 53-Man Roster 2026 # A Look at the Chargers Initial 53-Man Roster for 2026 Aug 30, 2026 at 06:30 PM Eric Smith Editorial Director The Chargers have unveiled their initial 53-man roster for the 2026 season. There are 26 players on offense, 25 on defense and two specialists among the 53 players. All NFL teams had to get their rosters to 53 players by 3 p.m. (PT) on Sunday. It is worth noting that this initial roster could change, but here's a position-by-position look at who made the initial 53. Note: all players listed alphabetically by last name. ### OFFENSE Quarterbacks (2) On the Roster: Justin Herbert and Trey Lance All eyes are on Justin Herbert this season as the quarterback enters Year 7 in the NFL. The Chargers franchise player was downright superhuman in 2025 as he willed the Bolts to the playoffs despite poor offensive line play and his own injuries, including a fractured left hand. But the trajectory of Herbert's career only seems to be pointing up now that he's been paired with Offensive Coordinator Mike McDaniel, who said this offseason that he wants the quarterback to play "the best football of his career" this fall. Herbert should flourish McDaniel's scheme, putting him in the late-season MVP talks as the Chargers once again look for playoff success. Trey Lance won the backup job in training camp and the preseason over DJ Uiagalelei, and his experience will be crucial behind the scenes, especially since he's familiar with McDaniel's system. Running backs (3) On the Roster: Omarion Hampton, Keaton Mitchell and Kimani Vidal Omarion Hampton showed plenty of promise as a rookie, rushing for 545 yards and four scores in nine games. But he could be poised for a monster season given how much the 2025 first-round pick's speed, power and agility fit right into McDaniel's scheme. Keaton Mitchell was a key offseason free-agent acquisition who should provide some pop on offense with his blazing speed. And don't forget about Kimani Vidal, who actually led the Chargers in rushing last season and rounds out what could be one of the deeper running back rooms across the league. On the Roster: Alec Ingold Alec Ingold played for McDaniel the past four years in Miami and has a vast knowledge of the offense. And, as the fullback so eloquently quipped this offseason, he likes to "run and hit [stuff]." Enough said. Wide receivers (6) On the Roster: Derius Davis, Tre' Harris, Quentin Johnston, KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Ladd McConkey and Brenen Thompson Ladd McConkey was sensational as a rookie in 2024 but had an up-and-down 2025 season. Look for him to bounce back in a big way under McDaniel, who will scheme ways to get the shifty receiver open in space. Quentin Johnston's 65-yard touchdown catch in the preseason finale might be a precursor for what's to come in 2026. He's led the Bolts with eight touchdown catches in each of the past two seasons. Tre' Harris was a bonafide blocker as a rookie but should have a bigger role in the passing game this season. The 2025 second-rounder brings a physical element to the offense, especially on third downs. The rest of this group is defined by speed, beginning with rookie Brenen Thompson, who ran 4.28 at the 2026 Combine. He flashed in camp and could be a deep threat option in 2026. KeAndre Lambert-Smith showed his improvement in the preseason and is an ascending player, while Derius Davis should once again be the main returner while chipping in on offense here and there. Tight ends (3) On the Roster: Oronde Gadsden, Charlie Kolar and David Njoku The Chargers revamped their tight end room over the offseason and now boast one of the more versatile and athletic groups in the NFL. Charlie Kolar was a priority in free agency as the former Raven signed a multi-year contract. One of the best blocking tight ends in the league, Kolar also has untapped potential in the passing game and has already developed a strong rapport with Herbert. Oronde Gadsden is looking to build on a solid rookie season when the fifth-round pick totaled 49 catches for 664 yards and three scores. Look for McDaniel to get Gadsden on the move so the ultra-athletic tight end can be a mismatch for defenders this season. And don't sleep on David Njoku, a veteran who signed with the Bolts after the draft. A former first-round pick, Njoku could end up doing most of his damage in the red zone, where he has 26 career touchdown catches inside the 20-yard line. Offensive line (11) On the Roster: Joe Alt, Kayode Awosika, Travis Burke, Alex Harkey, Trevor Penning, Trey Pipkins III, Rashawn Slater, Jake Slaughter, Jacob Spomer, Cole Strange and Logan Taylor The Chargers will enter the 2026 season with high hopes that this group is a catalyst for McDaniel's offense. Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt have each returned from 2025 season-ending injuries and will lead the charge up front as a pair of elite, All-Pro level tackles. There will be plenty of focus on the interior, too, as the Chargers will roll with three completely new starters than what they finished the 2025 season with. That group is made up of Kayode Awosika as the likely starting left guard, rookie Jake Slaughter at center and Cole Strange at right guard. Awosika seemingly won the job in camp as Harbaugh and McDaniel have heaped plenty of praise on the offseason acquisition, while Strange is plenty familiar with McDaniel after playing last season in Miami. Slaughter, perhaps the draft's best center prospect, was in the mix to start at left guard before veteran center Tyler Biadasz suffered a season-ending ACL injury on August 18. The rest of the group will bring solid depth as Trey Pipkins III, Trevor Penning and Travis Burke can each play multiple positions. The Chargers also kept a pair of 2026 sixth-round picks in Alex Harkey and Logan Taylor on the initial 53-man roster. Jacob Spomer, an undrafted rookie free agent, impressed this offseason and also earned himself a spot on the initial 53-m

5 takeaways from Dan Quinn and Adam Peters' joint press conference # 5 takeaways from Dan Quinn and Adam Peters' joint press conference Sep 01, 2026 at 12:50 PM Zach Selby Senior Writer Washington Commanders head coach and general manager Adam Peters addressed the media for the first time since the initial 53-man roster was released. Here are five takeaways from their joint press conference. 1. They're confident with what they have at center. Quinn acknowledged that not having Nick Allegretti on the field for most of camp was not ideal. They obviously would have rather had him on the field continuing to build his connection with Jayden Daniels ahead of his first NFL season as a full-time center. But that absence hasn't changed their plans for the position, and they remain as confident as ever in their decision to rely on Allegretti. "Nick is one of our smartest players, so that's a position that you rely on," Quinn said. "He's making calls, 'Where am I setting things?' So that's a good piece. But yeah, I would say it's not a part of that, why he had so many plays or decisiveness. But we're excited he's back to work today, I can tell you that." Allegretti's injury allowed the Commanders to get a closer look at their depth, which included sixth-round pick Matt Gulbin and veteran Julian Good-Jones. Gulbin ended up making the active roster because of the growth he showed in the final stretch of camp. Quinn said he saw the progress each day, and he likes Gulbin's "strength in the pocket." Good-Jones got most of the snaps with Daniels in camp and has returned to the team on the practice squad. Quinn said Good-Jones getting as much time in camp as he did will "pay dividends." The team liked his work ethic, and they believe the connection he established with Daniels will be important if there is an emergency where he has to play. "We like that group," Peters said. "And like I said, if there's somebody else that we feel that would add to it, we're not afraid to do that." 2. Jayden Daniels is ready for his third season. Although the Commanders did plenty to improve their overall roster this past offseason, Daniels' development remains the fulcrum for their success. And there's some good news there: Daniels looked sharp in camp, and the Commanders are expecting big things from him in his third season. "I love Jayden's readiness," Quinn said. "He took over 500 snaps in this training camp. That's almost like a half season's worth of reps." Daniels has taken all the changes to Washington's offense, from the new play caller to being under center more often, in stride while building chemistry with new weapons like Chig Okonkwo and Stefon Diggs. Quinn felt his command of the offense in how he made calls in the huddle and checks at the line of scrimmage. He's also been decisive with his throws, and it's helped the offense run smoothly. Despite all the factors that would be challenges for other players, Daniels has been "excellent," Quinn said. "New system, but his call, his command, his ability to get in and out of things, it's impressive," he added. The Washington Commanders were back on the practice field for their first practice after final roster cuts. 22 / 24 Emily Faith Morgan/Washington Commanders 23 / 24 Emily Faith Morgan/Washington Commanders 24 / 24 Emily Faith Morgan/Washington Commanders 3. Updates on injured players. The Commanders have dealt with multiple injuries over the past month, but there was some good news from Quinn: many of these players are working their way back to practice. Quinn started the press conference by announcing that Allegretti, Marcus Mariota, Daron Payne, Jordan Magee and Ben Sinnott would be back at practice. Mariota's return is more of an insurance policy for Daniels, but players like Allegretti, Payne and the rest are either starters or will get significant playing time. Their returns provide them with valuable reps to prepare for the team's Week 1 road game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Trey Amos, however, was not among the players who returned to practice, as he was placed on Injured Reserve earlier in the day. Amos will now have to miss at least the first four games of the season nursing an ankle injury he suffered in camp. "We wanna take it slow with him, that's why we put him on IR," Peters said. "And could he have come back right around, in a few weeks? Maybe, but with the advances in sport science and understanding what it will take for him to get ready to play from not having played since mid-season last year, we wanted to take that a little bit slower. So, we're confident he'll be ready when it's time for him to come out." Outside linebacker Odafe Oweh was also not among the players returning to practice, but Quinn said the team is "feeling good" about his progress. "We're thrilled that he's making this kind of progress to get ready." 4. The depth at wide receiver. The Commanders decided to keep seven receivers on their active roster, which is not normal for most teams. However, Peters believes it speaks to how deep the room was in camp, and there were other players who had strong cases to make the roster. "All those guys have a little bit different skillset and a little different ways they can help our team," Peters said. "Some of them are better on special teams, some of them are better inside or outside. So, we wanted to keep a mix of all those guys." Each player has a clearly defined role in the offense. Terry McLaurin is the clear No. 1, while Diggs, who made positive impressions early in camp, is the No. 2. Antonio Williams will be the primary slot receiver, while Treylon Burks and Dyami Brown will be vertical threats. Luke McCaffrey and Jaylin Lane are mostly special teams players, but they showed growth as route runners in camp. While it's not common to keep seven receivers, the Commanders wanted to put together the best possible roster with the players at their disposal. They had to balance out the math at o
