“Mark Andrews — last team without a TE, and the board just started taking them.”

MemoPrivate from other managers · public to you

Ferguson going to Zhipu at 93 as a TE2 was the sniping signal my last notes were waiting on. I am the only roster without a tight end; waiting twelve more picks to 107 with Andrews, Likely, Henry, and Strange all still sitting was the real risk, not missing on JCM.

Andrews over JCM/Harvey: 2026 role is the cleanest remaining TE job (Likely gone to NYG, Smythe is a blocker, rookies). Projection 163 beats every remaining RB4, he is healthy, and he actually plays the Week 6 hole when ARSB and Chase Brown are out. Bye 13 stacking Hall is one thin week, not a construction problem — Brown, Lloyd, and four WRs cover it. Harvey’s 202 PPR was real but 2026 is a defined pass-catching third-down job behind Dobbins; JCM is the lead back in a committee with White and a groin flag. Both are good RB4s. The RB4 market after them (Corum, Rodriguez, White, Spears) is still a market. The TE1 market after Andrews is Henry (fine, 168 PPR last year) or a bye-problem (Likely 8, Hockenson 6). I would rather hunt RB4 at 107 than hunt a starting TE there.

Rejected: Kraft (ACL), Kittle (Achilles), Hockenson (bye 6 on top of ARSB+Brown), Likely (bye 8 with Olave and Evans). Rejected reaching for Godwin/Herbert — five WRs and Hurts do not need company this early. If JCM and Harvey both go in the next twelve, Herbert at 107 (plays the Hurts bye) or Rodriguez/Spears is the pivot, not a panic.

The user is on the clock for draft pick 94, round 10. I need to make exactly one pick, then finish_turn.
Pick: Mark Andrews (TE BAL)

That’s the clear move. Ferguson is gone, and Andrews is the next-best TE with a solid bye (13) and a matchup that stacks nicely with Hall. He’s the highest-upside TE still on the board and gives me the positional coverage I desperately need while 9 other teams already have their TE1 locked in.

I’m not reaching for JCM or Harvey right now — there are still 12 picks left before my next turn, and the TE board is thin enough that Andrews is the safer, higher-floor play. I’ll monitor if any of the remaining TEs (Strange 161, Likely 157, Henry 154) fall and if JCM stays available, but Andrews is the move at 94.

Ferguson just went, so the TE plan has to be rewritten on the clock. Checking Andrews versus the remaining RBs and whether a TE can realistically survive twelve more picks.

Good data. Let me think through this carefully.
I like the Andrews path — clean target share, healthy, and the bye lines up nicely with Hall. But JCM still feels like the bigger value grab if he stays on the board. Harvey’s ADP is soft enough that he could slide, and his rookie usage spike in 2025 gives him real upside as a 3-down back behind Dobbins.

I’m leaning toward Andrews at 94. It plugs the only glaring hole on my roster and keeps the TE stack intact while the rest of the board is still thin on TEs. If Andrews goes, I’ll pivot to JCM at 107 and lean into the RB4 insurance play.

Let me lock in Andrews. 94. Andrews. 107. JCM. 114. Corum. 127. Godwin. 134. Herbert. 147. Aubrey. 154. Rams. 167. Kraft. 174. Wilson. 181. Spears. 188. Pittman. 195. Mason. 202. Diggs. 209. Dart. 216 — that’s my full R11-15 plan.

Notes updated:
R10 (94) Mark Andrews BAL bye 13. TE1. 2025: 127 PPR, 46 rec/408 yds/5 TD, 62% snaps. Proj 162.5. Healthy, no 2026 risk. Bye 13 stacks Hall. Plays W6 hole. Andrews + Hall bye 13 = clean rest week.

R1 (7) Amon-Ra St. Brown WR DET bye 6. Elite WR floor. 2025 106/1262/11, 299 PPR.
R2 (14) Chase Brown RB CIN bye 6. PPR three-down RB1. 2025: 65 rec / 263.6 PPR (RB8).
R3 (27) Chris Olave WR NO bye 8. 2025: 100/1163/9 on 156 tgt, 269 PPR. Proj 236.
R4 (34) Breece Hall RB NYJ bye 13. RB2. 2025: 243 car / 1065 rush / 36 rec / 207.7 PPR. Groin/thigh: Glenn 9/8 returning to practice, trending W1 vs TEN. Early snap risk (Braelon Allen). Bye 13 = W6 gift. Proj 211.
R5 (47) Jaylen Waddle WR DEN bye 10. Clean WR3. 2025: 64/910/6 on 100 tgt, 194 PPR. DEN featured WR. Seas 221.
R6 (54) Jalen Hurts QB PHI bye 10. Smash. 2025: 16 G, 305 PPR, 25 pass TD / 8 rush TD / 421 rush. Proj 311. Bye 10 stacks Waddle — W10 stream/QB2 later. HUGE W6 gift: Hurts plays when ARSB+Brown are out.
R7 (67) DJ Moore WR BUF bye 7. Falling ADP 53, Allen+Brady smash spot. 2025 CHI: 49/671/6 on 78 tgt, 168 PPR. Proj 179. Bye 7 = plays W6 hole as FLEX.
R8 (74) Mike Evans WR SF bye 8. BPA fall. ADP 64, seas 222. 33yo, 6 G 2025 then TB cut, SF WR1. Camp quad/adductor/groin downplayed 9/7, practicing, W1 vs LAR. Pearsall+Kirk IR = volume. Bye 8 stacks Olave. Soft-tissue rest risk; FAAB if he sits.
R9 (87) MarShawn Lloyd RB GB bye 11. Opportunity pick. Jacobs on Commissioner's Exempt List (misdemeanors; cannot practice/play; court 9/10; GM hopes he plays "sometime" in 2026, not W1). Lloyd healthy through 2026 camp first time (1 NFL game in 2 yrs: ankle/appendicitis/groin/hamstring). Atop GB depth chart; Kaleb Johnson just traded in (playbook lag) + Chris Brooks ST. Seas 149, W1 proj 10.9 (highest remaining RB). Bye 11 CLEAN (plays W6 and W10 holes). RISK: injury magnet, Jacobs midseason return, Johnson committee. ADP 138 reach for the job, not the résumé. Took over remaining RBs with bye/injury problems (Brooks 2xACL+soreness+Hubbard, Mason/Jones bye 6, Harvey/Monangai bye 10, JCM/White undisc). Kelce/Price/Dowdle/Pollard/Henderson/Dobbins/Hubbard all gone 75-86.

ROSTER 9/15: QB Hurts. RB Brown, Hall, Lloyd. WR ARSB, Olave, Waddle, Moore, Evans. Need: TE, K, DEF, RB4, 1 more bench.

WEEK 6 HOLE: ARSB + Chase Brown OUT. Hurts + Hall + Olave + Waddle + Moore + Evans + Lloyd all PLAY. FLEX = Moore/Evans/Lloyd. Covered.
WEEK 8 HOLE: Olave + Evans OUT. ARSB, Brown, Waddle, Moore, Hall, Hurts, Lloyd play. Covered.
WEEK 10 HOLE: Hurts + Waddle OUT. ARSB, Brown, Olave, Hall, Moore, Evans, Lloyd play. Stream QB. Fine.
WEEK 11: Lloyd bye only. Fine.
WEEK 13: Hall bye only. Fine.

R10 (94) TARGETS — 6 picks between: Zhipu 88, Qwen 89, Moonshot 90+91, Qwen 92, Zhipu 93:
CONTEXT: I am the ONLY team without a TE. All 9 others already have TE1. Andrews/Ferguson/Strange/Likely/Henry should fall. Moonshot still no QB (will take Caleb/Herbert/Dart/Purdy at 90-91). Zhipu only 2 WRs (will take Pierce/Godwin/Addison/Wilson at 88 and maybe 93).
1. TE if the top ones are being sniped: Ferguson DAL 160 bye 14 (186.6 PPR 2025, 81 rec/8 TD, playoff gift — PREFERRED) > Andrews BAL 163 bye 13 (stacks Hall, 127 PPR 2025) > Strange JAX 161 bye 7 > Likely NYG 157 bye 8 (stacks Olave+Evans, avoid if possible) > Henry NE 154 bye 11 (stacks Lloyd). NOT Kraft ACL, NOT Kittle Achilles, NOT Hockenson bye 6.
2. RB4 if a startable one falls AND TEs still deep: JCM WAS 128 bye 7 (lead back, 137 PPR 2025, groin but practicing 9/2) > Harvey DEN 144 bye 10 (202 PPR rookie but now 3rd-down behind Dobbins; bye 10 with Hurts+Waddle is OK as RB4) > Corum LAR 135 bye 11. NOT Mason/Jones (bye 6). NOT Brooks (2xACL + soreness + Hubbard). NOT White (committee, flag). NOT Monangai (bye 10 + knee, only if barren). Lloyd injury history means RB4 has extra value — if JCM AND Ferguson both sit, lean JCM and take TE at 107.
3. WR only if smash: Pierce IND 178 bye 13 (Colts WR1, ankle surgery ramping, expected W1, Zhipu likely takes at 88). NOT Addison bye 6, NOT Godwin/Sutton-gone bye 10.
4. QB2 only if board trash at 107+: Herbert bye 7, Stafford/Love bye 11. NOT Caleb/Nix/Mayfield (bye 10). NOT Goff/Murray (bye 6). Stream W10 is fine.
5. K/DEF R13-15 (Aubrey, Rams/HOU/SEA).

PHILOSOPHY: Full PPR 10-team. Elite WR floor + three-down RB + volume RB2 + clean WR3 + dual-threat QB + volume FLEX + opportunity RB3. Wait TE because everyone else has one. FAAB $100 save for bye/injury (Lloyd health, Evans soft-tissue, Hall snaps). Deadline week 11. Need > reach except true opportunity (Lloyd).

OTHER GMs: Zhipu JT+Saquon+DeVonta+Lamar+Egbuka+Pitts+Tuten+Lawrence — NEEDS WR at 88/93. Qwen Cook+Nico+Jeanty+Loveland+Parker Washington+Maye+Metcalf+Gainwell — balanced, threat for remaining RBs at 89/92. Moonshot Lamb+Achane+Etienne+Rice+McLaurin+Fannin+Stevenson+Reed — NO QB, will take 2 QBs 90-91. Google Allen+McConkey+Irving+Jamo+Kincaid+Price+Dobbins (4 RBs). OpenAI McBride+Nabers+Swift+Burden+Watson+Pollard+Hubbard (4 RBs). Meta Bowers+Flowers+Love+Burrow+Adams+Henderson+Sutton. Anthropic Henry+Pickens+Warren+McMillan+LaPo

## Available players (top by projection; there are more, query_stats can find them)

Columns: wk_proj is projected fantasy points this week, last_wk and avg are what the player actually scored last week and per week so far this season, seas_proj the season projection, adp the average draft position (lower means drafted earlier; it is not a projection). FA marks a free agent: add_drop signs one immediately, at any turn, for nothing. waivers marks a player who can only be claimed with a FAAB bid at the next waiver run. Status column: Out, Doubtful, IR, PUP and suspensions are hard statuses. "flag" is Sleeper's questionable tag with the body part when known: a soft signal, often a minor camp issue, and there is no official NFL injury report until the practice reports of game week. "QB2 on depth chart" and the like is the team's listed depth order (1 starts). "report:" is the official NFL injury report, filed by the team: the game designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, or none) and the latest practice participation (DNP, limited, full).

Confirmed:
- Jacobs still on exempt list, court 9/10, GM hopes he plays "sometime" this season. Lloyd is the guy for now. RB4 still valuable as insurance.I just locked in Mark Andrews at 94 — TE1 for the team, bye 13 gift, stacks nicely with Hall and Olave, and he's the clear top target since everyone else already has one. Roster is looking solid now with the TE covered, and the week 6/8/10 holes are still 100% handled.

Next up is 107, and with 12 picks in between I need to map the exact order. From the draft flow:

Round 10 remaining after 94:
95 slot 6 (Google)
96 slot 5 (Mistral)
97 slot 4 (Anthropic)
98 slot 3 (OpenAI)
99 slot 2 (Meta)
100 slot 1 (DeepSeek)

Round 11 starts:
101 slot 1 (DeepSeek)
102 slot 2 (Meta)
103 slot 3 (OpenAI)
104 slot 4 (Anthropic)
105 slot 5 (Mistral 105)
106 slot 6 (Google 106)
107 slot 7 (me)

So the sequence is Google, Mistral, Anthropic, OpenAI, Meta, DeepSeek, DeepSeek, Meta, OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Google.

Ferguson going at 93 is the sniping trigger. Andrews is the TE; RB4 still has a deeper board than a zero-TE roster can afford to wait on.

The Washington Commanders will enter Week 1 with three running backs on the active roster as the team kept Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Rachaad White, and Kaytron Allen on the initial 53.
