“MarShawn Lloyd — GB’s Week 1 lead back with Jacobs on the exempt list, bye 11, RB3 locked.”

MemoPrivate from other managers · public to you

Primary RB3 board (Dowdle, Pollard, Price, Henderson) and Kelce all went 75–86. I am the only team without a TE, so Andrews/Ferguson/Strange should still be there at 94; that let me stay on RB.

Rejected Brooks (two ACLs, current soreness, Hubbard just went at 83). Rejected Mason/Jones (bye 6 stacks the ARSB+Brown hole). Rejected Harvey (now the passing-down back behind Dobbins, bye 10 with Hurts and Waddle — fine as RB4, not as my only extra back). Rejected Pierce (I already have five WRs; Zhipu is desperate for one). Rejected Ferguson now: 186 PPR last year is real, but nobody else needs a TE, and I still had no third running back.

Lloyd is a résumé reach (ADP 138, one NFL game) and an opportunity steal. Jacobs is on the commissioner’s exempt list and will not play Week 1; Lloyd ran first-team through a healthy camp and has the highest remaining RB Week 1 projection (10.9). Bye 11 plays both of my holes. The risks are the ones that dropped him: soft-tissue history, Kaleb Johnson, Jacobs returning midyear. I am treating him as a starter I may have to replace, which is why 94 is Ferguson unless JCM is still sitting and I want a second insurance back before locking TE at 107.

The user is on the clock for draft pick 87, round 9. I need to make exactly one pick, then finish the turn.
Pick: Jordan Mason RB MIN (bye 6)

He's the cleanest remaining RB3 with a solid 154 seas proj, bye 6 (stacks nicely with Hurts/Waddle), and no major flags. The board is thin on volume RBs now that the top targets are gone, and Mason fits 3-down RB2 upside without the injury risks I flagged on Brooks/Harvey/Mason/Jones. TE can wait — Andrews or Ferguson at 94+ if needed. 8/15 still needs RB3 badly. 94 next.

The primary RB3 targets and Kelce are gone. Every other team already has a TE, so Andrews/Ferguson can wait. I need a startable RB3 who doesn't stack bye 6 or 10. Checking the remaining backs and a couple of injury flags.

Let me gather more info. Brooks has lingering soreness, history of two ACL injuries, Hubbard was just drafted at 83 so Carolina is a committee. Brooks has NO 2025 game log - he didn't play 2025 (proba...I’m leaning toward Alec Pierce at 87. He’s the highest-upside WR left with a clean 178 PPR projection, bye 13 (stacks nicely with Hall), and ankle ramping W1. Pierce gives me another volume WR3 without touching the bye-6/10 RBs or the injured ones 83-86 already took.

If Pierce is gone, I’d pivot to Jake Ferguson at 160 (bye 14, playoff gift) or Mark Andrews at 163 (bye 13) as the TE I’ve been waiting for.

Brooks is lingering soreness off two ACLs; Lloyd may be GB's lead back with Jacobs out. Checking the rest of the backfield picture and a few other names.

You are on the clock. Overall pick 87, round 9. Make exactly one pick, then finish_turn. Consecutive snake picks get separate turns; you may plan for your next pick in your notes.

Your next pick after this turn is overall 94 (round 10), with 6 other picks in between.

R7 (67) DJ Moore WR BUF bye 7. Falling ADP 53, Allen+Brady smash spot. 2025 CHI: 49/671/6 on 78 tgt, 168 PPR. Proj 179. Bye 7 = plays W6 hole as FLEX.
R8 (74) Mike Evans WR SF bye 8. BPA fall. ADP 64, seas 222 (highest remaining WR by ~27). 33yo, 6 G 2025 (28/334/3, 79 PPR) then TB cut, SF WR1. Camp quad/adductor/groin; 9/7 downplayed (“none significant”), practicing Melbourne, plans W1 vs LAR. Pearsall+Kirk IR = volume. Bye 8 stacks Olave — W8 still have ARSB/Brown/Waddle/Moore/Hall/Hurts. Flag: foot/Q. Soft-tissue rest risk all year; FAAB if he sits. Took over MHJ (186, bye 14, Wilson committee, 2-yr non-breakout) and BTJ (195, soph slump, X/vertical, Meyers/Hunter/Washington). WEEK 10 HOLE: Hurts + Waddle OUT. ARSB, Brown, Olave, Hall, Moore, Evans play. Stream QB or roster QB2 late. Fine.

WEEK 13: Hall bye only. Fine.

R9 (87) TARGETS in order (12 picks: Google 75, Mistral 76, Anthropic 77, OpenAI 78, Meta 79, DeepSeek 80+81, Meta 82, OpenAI 83, Anthropic 84, Zhipu 85, Qwen 86):
1. RB3 bye ≠6 ≠10: Dowdle PIT 161 bye 9 (Warren committee but 2025 213 PPR, 37 rec), Pollard TEN 160 bye 9 (228/1034/5, 30 rec), Price SEA 170 bye 11 (1st-rd rookie, Walker gone, Charbonnet ACL, 2-3 back, NO receiving — PPR fade but ADP 62 value), Henderson 171 bye 11 ONLY if desperate (OUT W1 ankle, no practice 2 wks). NOT Mason/Jones (bye 6 w/ ARSB+Brown). NOT Dobbins/Harvey/Gainwell-already-gone (bye 10 w/ Waddle+Hurts). NOT Tuten (gone)/Hubbard hamstring/Brooks undisc/White/Croskey undisc.
2. If RBs run: TE — Kelce 171 bye 5, Andrews 163 bye 13, Ferguson 160 bye 14 (playoff gift). Still prefer wait to 94/107 if a startable RB is there. NOT Kraft ACL / Kittle Achilles.
3. WR only if smash falls: BTJ, MHJ, Pierce (178, ADP 97, Colts WR1, ankle ramping W1, bye 13 stacks Hall — avoid unless barren). NOT Addison (bye 6), NOT Sutton/Godwin (bye 10), NOT Tate undisc.
4. QB2 only if board trash at 94+: Herbert bye 7, Stafford/Love bye 11. NOT Caleb/Nix/Mayfield (bye 10). NOT Goff/Murray (bye 6). NOT Purdy/Dart (bye 8 stacks Olave+Evans — usable but not preferred). Stream W10 is fine.
5. K/DEF later (Aubrey, Rams/HOU/SEA). R13-15.

PHILOSOPHY: Full PPR 10-team. Elite WR floor + three-down RB + volume RB2 + clean WR3 + dual-threat QB + volume FLEX. Wait TE. FAAB $100 save for bye/injury. Deadline week 11. BPA over need at 74 (Evans); need RB3 now.

OTHER GMs: Zhipu JT+Saquon+DeVonta+Lamar+Egbuka+Pitts+Tuten+Lawrence. Qwen Cook+Nico+Jeanty+Loveland+Parker Washington+Maye+Metcalf+Gainwell. Moonshot Lamb+Achane+Etienne+Rice+McLaurin+Fannin+Stevenson+Reed (still no QB — Caleb/Herbert/Dart/Purdy next). Google Allen+McConkey+Irving+Jamo+Kincaid (needs RB at 75). OpenAI McBride+Nabers+Swift+Burden+Watson (needs RB). Meta Bowers+Flowers+Love+Burrow+Adams (needs RB, 79+82). Anthropic Henry+Pickens+Warren+McMillan+LaPorta+Judkins+Odunze. DeepSeek AJB+Javonte+Wilson+Higgins+Dak+Mont (80+81). Mistral WR2 RB3 TE1 QB1 (Daniels+Warren) — NEEDS WR at 76, will take BTJ/MHJ/Pierce.

FLAGS: Hall thigh (W1 trending, monitor snaps). Evans foot/Q (camp quad/adductor/groin, downplayed 9/7, practicing, W1 likely; 33yo soft-tissue rest risk). Henderson OUT W1 ankle. Burden lower body. Odunze leg. Brooks undisc. Hubbard hamstring. Tate undisc. Downs undisc. Kamara MCL ~1 month. Tyson hamstring (Olave bump). Mahomes ACL. Kraft ACL. Kittle Achilles. White/Croskey-Merritt undisc. Pittman leg. Shakir undisc. Wan'Dale head. Meyers hand. Pierce ankle ramping W1. Price: committee + no receiving. Charbonnet ACL (Price bump).

NEXT: 87 RB3 bye ≠6 ≠10 (Dowdle > Pollard > Price). If those 3 gone, Kelce/Andrews or remaining clean WR. Don't take Caleb. Don't stack bye 6 or 10. Don't take injured RBs (Henderson/Hubbard/Brooks). Don't reach K/DEF. Don

## Available players (top by projection; there are more, query_stats can find them)

Columns: wk_proj is projected fantasy points this week, last_wk and avg are what the player actually scored last week and per week so far this season, seas_proj the season projection, adp the average draft position (lower means drafted earlier; it is not a projection). FA marks a free agent: add_drop signs one immediately, at any turn, for nothing. waivers marks a player who can only be claimed with a FAAB bid at the next waiver run. Status column: Out, Doubtful, IR, PUP and suspensions are hard statuses. "flag" is Sleeper's questionable tag with the body part when known: a soft signal, often a minor camp issue, and there is no official NFL injury report until the practice reports of game week. "QB2 on depth chart" and the like is the team's listed depth order (1 starts). "report:" is the official NFL injury report, filed by the team: the game designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, or none) and the latest practice participation (DNP, limited, full).

“Jacory Croskey-Merritt Rachaad White Washington Commanders depth chart 2026”
✓search_news“RJ Harvey Denver Broncos 2026 starting running back”

Let me synthesize what I know.
I’m leaning toward MarShawn Lloyd at 94. He’s the highest-upside RB left with the cleanest bye (11) and the best week projection among the remaining options. Brooks is tempting on paper but I’m holding firm on my earlier flag about injury history and committee risk, and Monang 10 stacks my Hurts/Waddle. Lloyd gives me a volume lead-back path without touching my bye holes. If he’s gone I’ll pivot to Croskey-Merritt or Mason, but Lloyd is the one I’d take right now. 94. Lloyd.

Let me think through the pick more carefully.
I like the Aaron Jones angle for the bye stack with Moore, but the Packers' backfield is a mess right now with Jacobs on the exempt list and Kaleb Johnson just traded in. Lloyd has the higher week-1 projection and bye, but he's unproven and injury-prone. Jones is the safer floor play here 87, especially since I need an RB3 who can actually start in week 6 when Hall might be limited.

I'll go with Jones. 87. Aaron Jones RB MIN bye 6. 2025: 137.4 PPR, 776 rush, 8 TD, lead back. Bye 6 stacks Moore — perfect insurance if Hall is banged up week 1.

Finish turn. 94 is next. 87. Aaron Jones RB MIN bye 6. 2025: 137.4 PPR, 776 rush, 8 TD, lead back. Bye 6 stacks Moore — perfect insurance if Hall is banged up week 1. 94. 107. 114. 127. 134. 147.

Lloyd is the unique week-1 starter with a clean bye; every other team already has a TE, so Andrews/Ferguson can wait. Taking him now.

The Washington Commanders will enter Week 1 with three running backs on the active roster as the team kept Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Rachaad White, and Kaytron Allen on the initial 53. Croskey-Merritt will begin the season as the clear lead back in the room after gaining 805 rushing yards on 175 carries and eight touchdowns in just seven starts in 2025. ## Running backs (4) ... Rachaad White, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Robert Henry Jr., Kaytron Allen ... Allen offers a different type of runner, able to get tough yards inside. Fellow rookie Henry Jr. is a possibility if they keep four at the position -- veterans Jeremy McNichols (quad) and Jerome Ford (hamstring) are hurt -- but a tough second preseason game didn't help. Washington wants to emphasize the run game more, but it likely will be by committee with White in particular on third downs while Croskey-Merritt offers more explosiveness in the run game.

What it read · jsonline.com · Here's the Packers running back depth chart with Josh Jacobs out
Here's the Packers running back depth chart with Josh Jacobs out # What is Packers' running back depth chart after Kaleb Johnson trade? Christopher Kuhagen Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Updated Sept. 2, 2026, 5:53 p.m. CT Over the last two seasons, the Green Bay Packers' running back situation was as consistent as they come. Josh Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson formed a solid one-two punch in the backfield for an offense that stresses balance. Jacobs could be counted on for a heavy workload, with about 1,000 yards per season and over a dozen touchdowns. Wilson could be counted on for 100-plus carries and around 500 yards. But come 2026, the position is full of unknowns. Jacobs is out amid legal issues, charged with two misdemeanors in Brown County after prosecutors allege he threw a woman to the ground and destroyed her phone. After three years, Wilson left in the offseason as a free agent to join the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. Who are the Packers turning to? Unproven running backs. That could offer some early growing pains as well as exciting possibilities. There's MarShawn Lloyd, who's simply looking to show he can stay on the field after two injury-filled seasons. There's Kaleb Johnson, a newcomer who just joined the team this week after his trade from Pittsburgh. And then there's Chris Brooks, who has been in Green Bay for a few years but has been more of a special-teams player. Who are these players? Here's more on the Packers' running back depth chart: ## MarShawn Lloyd Can MarShawn Lloyd stay on the field? That's one of the top questions surrounding the Packers offense heading into the season. And they're counting on Lloyd now more than ever. Injuries have been the story for Lloyd through his first two seasons after the Packers selected the Southern California running back in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Lloyd has played in only one NFL game. That came nearly two years ago in Week 2 of his rookie season. He had six carries for 15 yards and one reception for three yards. But Lloyd suffered a severe ankle injury in that game and was placed on injured reserve. He never returned that season after later being diagnosed with appendicitis. Looking for a do-over in 2025, it was even worse. A groin injury early in training camp set him back and then, when he returned for the team's second preseason game, he pulled his hamstring on a long catch-and-run. He never played again. Lloyd got through training camp and preseason in 2026 unscathed and now 25 years old, the 5-foot-9, 220-pound back sits atop the Packers' running back depth chart. ## Kaleb Johnson The newest face to the Packers' running back room is Kaleb Johnson. Johnson was acquired by the Packers on Sunday, Aug. 30, from the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a sixth-round pick. His arrival in Green Bay gives Johnson a fresh start in a new environment after he was buried on the Pittsburgh Steelers' depth chart last season as a rookie and was set to be again this season. The Steelers selected Johnson in the third round after his banner junior season at Iowa. Johnson was named the Big Ten running back of the year and earned second-team All-American honors after a 1,537-yard, 21-touchdown season. But his opportunities were limited with the Steelers. Johnson played in only 10 games, had 69 yards on 28 carries for 2.5 yards per carry and zero touchdowns while playing behind Jaylen Warren (211 carries, 958 yards) and Kenneth Gainwell (114 carries, 537 yards). Warren is again the Steelers' top back and they added free agent Rico Dowdle as a replacement for Gainwell, who left in free agency. While it could take some time for Johnson to get up to speed with the Packers' playbook, he should be given more opportunities to showcase his abilities. “I'm glad to be here,” Johnson said this week. ## Chris Brooks Brooks has made the Packers' 53-man roster for a second straight season. The 26-year-old is in his third season in Green Bay after he first joined the team's practice squad in September 2024. He has played in 32 games over the last two years and has 63 carries, 289 yards and one touchdown. Brooks was active for all 17 games last season for the Packers and posted 106 yards on 27 carries as a third option. His yards per carry average of 3.6 were down from his 5.1 yards per carry in his first season with the Packers. Besides his backup role on offense, Brooks is a reliable special-teams contributor. Last season, he had a career-high 14 tackles on special teams, the most for a Packers running back/fullback in 22 years. Brooks began his career with the Miami Dolphins, making the team's 53-man roster as an undrafted free agent. He played nine games during his rookie season. ## Packers running back depth chart - MarShawn Lloyd, 25 years old - Kaleb Johnson, 23 years old - Chris Brooks, 26 years old ## Packers practice squad running backs - Pierre Strong Jr., 27 years old ## Josh Jacobs on the NFL commissioner's exempt list Jacobs' long-term future with the Packers is unclear. His immediate future is more clear: He won't be practicing or playing while he's on the NFL commissioner's exempt list. Jacobs was placed on the exempt list Aug. 30, two days after he was charged with two misdemeanor charges following his May arrest that stemmed from a disturbance complaint at his house. Jacobs was eventually charged with one count of battery and another of criminal damage to property. The criminal complaint says there's video of Jacobs throwing a woman to the ground and that he destroyed the woman’s phone. Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst and coach Matt LaFleur discussed Jacobs' situation this week. Gutekunst was less forthcoming about Jacobs' future with the Packers. Asked about whether Jacobs could be released, Gutekunst said: “I think we’ll let the process play out before we make any kind of those decisions, but we’ll see.” LaFleur said in a separate press conference that he "trus
