“Christian Watson at 63: adding an immediately usable WR/FLEX option with upside in Green Bay's reshaped receiver room.”

MemoPrivate from other managers · public to you

I drafted Christian Watson at 63. With Montgomery and Adams taken immediately before us, Watson was my preferred remaining combination of role, upside, and immediate lineup utility. Chase, Nabers, and Burden all carry health questions; a fourth receiver who is currently unflagged gives us options rather than forcing an optimistic injury assumption. Green Bay's departures also support a larger opportunity for Watson, although reports calling him the lead receiver are not a guaranteed target allocation.

This is not a floor pick. Watson averaged only 5.5 targets across his ten recorded games last season, with substantial touchdown-driven volatility, and his injury history remains a risk. I prefer that uncertainty to adding Evans's age, missed camp, and current muscle issues alongside Nabers. Evans's continued practice participation is encouraging, but the reporting I read still did not establish official full participation. Their shared bye was a secondary consideration, not the deciding factor.

Price was the strongest alternative roster construction: a first-round rookie with an immediate opening while Charbonnet is on PUP. Passing on him could hurt if running backs disappear before 78. Nevertheless, the remaining backs offer several plausible routes to RB3, whereas Watson can enter our WR/FLEX mix immediately. Stevenson deserves closer consideration next: NBC now reports Henderson ruled out for Week 1, substantially more consequential than the packet's soft leg flag. Tuten's shared backfield also argues against treating his ADP as proof of a workhorse role.

I passed on quarterback again. Only two other teams still need a starter, and the available projection tier is broad and tightly grouped. Running-back depth is now my next-pick priority.

Evaluating player options

I need to select Watson after some substantial research. I should consider Henderson, who has huge potential despite RB scarcity. While I don’t need to check Watson, I do need an updated official report from Evans. I've noted some questionable synthetic projections, but I’ll follow through. I can search for Watson’s current health and Henderson’s role to assess RB3 options. I might make two calls in parallel while prioritizing Evans’ report for the highest projection.

## Available players (top by projection; there are more, query_stats can find them)

Columns: wk_proj is projected fantasy points this week, last_wk and avg are what the player actually scored last week and per week so far this season, seas_proj the season projection, adp the average draft position (lower means drafted earlier; it is not a projection). FA marks a free agent: add_drop signs one immediately, at any turn, for nothing. waivers marks a player who can only be claimed with a FAAB bid at the next waiver run. Status column: Out, Doubtful, IR, PUP and suspensions are hard statuses. "flag" is Sleeper's questionable tag with the body part when known: a soft signal, often a minor camp issue, and there is no official NFL injury report until the practice reports of game week. "QB2 on depth chart" and the like is the team's listed depth order (1 starts). "report:" is the official NFL injury report, filed by the team: the game designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, or none) and the latest practice participation (DNP, limited, full).

Jadarian Price To Get First NFL Action In Week 1 ## Seahawks first-round draft pick Jadarian Price is “super excited” to play in Week 1. Sep 05, 2026 at 03:43 PM Ari Horton Seahawks.com Writer EDWIN HOOPER/SEATTLE SEAHAWKS Throughout three preseason games, many of Seattle's starters and players who will be getting significant reps during the regular season didn't play at all or played very little. Seahawks 2026 first-round draft pick running back Jadarian Price is one of those players. When the Seahawks take on the New England Patriots on Wednesday, Price will play in his first NFL game in front of a crowd that includes his mom. "I'm super excited, and it's been a dream come true, and it's finally here, and it's the moment, and I'm prepared my whole life for it," Price said. Head coach Mike Macdonald said, "Excited for JD (Jadarian Price) to play." "It's a big week for him; his first game and his first NFL carry at some point," Macdonald said. "That's why we practice the way we do, that's why we train the way we do, it's why we think the way we do. Take a deep breath, go stack a great play and go do it again. We're excited for it." Though he didn't play in a preseason game, Price did have a joint practice against the Titans to get reps against a new defense. "Although I haven't played since November, I have had a chance to go out there and callous the body," Price said. He added, "Coach told me that was going to be my day since I wasn't playing in the game, treat that [joint] practice like a game and I did that." Since the draft and up to this point, Price said he's been taking in knowledge from everyone around him, including fellow running back Zach Charbonnet who is recovering from an ACL injury. "Zach's (Charbonnet) very helpful. He was one of the first guys that reached out when I got drafted. But also, we're both quiet people, so him coming up to me, and asking me, 'Hey, if you have anything, I got you.' I respect that a lot."

Henderson did not practice at any point this week and should be considered questionable heading into Week 2’s games. Rhamondre Stevenson will get the bulk of the load against Seattle and should factor into the RB2 equation despite a tough matchup on paper. The Patriots also ruled out Ben Brown (knee), who did not travel with the team to Seattle. Henderson traveled with the team to Seattle as it prepares for Wednesday’s game against the Seahawks, but he was unable to get on the practice field. That’s now back-to-back DNPs for Henderson, who is trending toward missing the season opener. Unless he can log a limited practice on Tuesday, it wouldn’t be surprising if Henderson was ruled out well before Wednesday’s game, paving the way for Rhamondre Stevenson to have a busy Week 1 in this rematch between last year’s Super Bowl contenders. NE Running Back #32 Patriots HC Mike Vrabel said “we’ll see how he feels today” when asked about the status of TreVeyon Henderson (ankle). Henderson has missed multiple weeks of practice since sustaining an ankle injury on August 24. After being a DNP on Sunday, Henderson missing Monday’s practice would be a bad sign for his availability for Wednesday’s season opener against the Seahawks. The Patriots will take the field later in the day, so we should have an update soon on whether or not he’s with the team. If he’s unable to play on Wednesday, Rhamondre Stevenson would be in line to handle a significant workload against a stout Seahawks defense. NE Running Back #32 Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) did not practice on Sunday. This outcome is unsurprising, given his absence during the portion of practice open to the media. If Henderson is unable to play on Wednesday night, starting RB Rhamondre Stevenson would take on a sizable workload. Backup RB Corey Kiner and practice squad players RB Lan Larison and RB Hassan Haskins are the Patriots’ remaining backfield members. NE Running Back #38 ESPN’s Mike Reiss reports that Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson is “the clear-cut starter.” Stevenson’s position on the depth chart has been apparent for some time, but Reiss helpfully states it in plain terms after rhetorically asking how the Patriots will handle in-game running back reps if RB TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) cannot play in Week 1 against the Seahawks on Wednesday night. If Henderson is unable to play, Stevenson will likely take on a larger-than-normal workload, with RB Corey Kiner and practice squad members RB Lan Larison and/or RB Hassan Haskins serving as his in-house touch competition. Although the Seahawks field a top-tier run defense, Stevenson can be treated as a high-end RB2 if Henderson is out, thanks to his hefty workload. NE Running Back #32 ESPN’s Mike Reiss reports that Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) is not present for the media-access portion of practice on Sunday. The injury has sidelined Henderson since August 24. The Patriots face the Seahawks on Wednesday. At this point, Henderson must be considered questionable to play. Even if he were active, he would be slated for No. 2 duties behind starting RB Rhamondre Stevenson, and it is fair to wonder if the team would keep Henderson on a snap count. Reiss reported this morning that RB Lan Larison and/or RB Hassan Haskins would likely be elevated from the practice squad if Henderson cannot play, joining Stevenson and backup RB Corey Kiner on game day. NE Running Back #32 ESPN’s Mike Reiss reports Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) did not practice Saturday. The absence is notable considering the team kicks off the 2026 regular season Wednesday, with the team’s first full injury report due later today. Henderson has yet to participate in practice since sustaining the injury on August 24 and now appears to be in legitimate danger of missing Week 1 when the Patriots square off against the defending Super Bowl Champions on the road in Seattle. Rhamondre Stevenson would be in line to soak up the bulk of the work out of the backfield should Henderson be forced to sit considering the only other back on the roster is recent acquisition Corey Kiner. NE Running Back #32 ESPN’s Mike Reiss reports that Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) “is not present for the media-access portion of practice.” Reiss also notes that the Patriots have three pre-Week 1
