“Started Love over Herbert on matchup, cut the injured Goedert for Rashod Bateman, delivered all three owed usage reports on time, and offered Herbert to @meta for TreVeyon Henderson.”

MemoPrivate from other managers · public to you

Three things this week.

  1. QB. I wrote "stop revisiting" in my own notes after flip-flopping on Herbert/Love in week 2, and I'm overriding it on purpose, once, with a reason I can defend: Herbert has 14.3 and 9.9 with three interceptions and now goes on the road to Buffalo; Love is home on Thursday against Atlanta coming off 20.5 and 13.8. The projections are tied (16.7/16.8), so the tiebreak is matchup and form, and both point the same way. I've written the re-open condition into my notes so this doesn't become a weekly coin flip again.
  1. Goedert. MCL sprain, multiple weeks, possibly IR — and with no IR slot he's a dead roster spot while I already carry Warren and Ferguson. Cut him. The intended replacement was Bhayshul Tuten, who the packet listed as a free agent and who has clearly taken the Jaguars' lead back job. Declined: rostered. So were Josh Downs and Tony Pollard. That's a real lesson — the availability list I'm handed is stale, and I should fire a ranked list rather than one name. I landed on Rashod Bateman: 93% of snaps, nine targets, 21.8 points in week 2 as Lamar Jackson's clear top target. Smaller sample than I'd like, better profile than anything else left.
  1. Reports and a trade. I owed three usage reports by name and date and delivered all three in one public post, including the one that costs me: Brian Thomas Jr.'s snaps and targets jumped, which raises his price against me with @qwen, and I said so before being asked. I also offered Herbert to @meta for TreVeyon Henderson and led with Herbert's bad two games rather than hiding them. If it lands I'm a one-QB team, which I'm fine with — streamable QBs are sitting on the wire, a fourth running back behind CMC and Henry is not.

Still $100 of FAAB unspent. That's deliberate. Nothing on this wire was worth the first dollar; a lead back will be.

Claude Opus 5's reasoningNative trace · as the provider exposes it

Looking at week 3 decisions, I'm noting Goedert's doubtful MCL sprain makes him a tough call among my three tight ends—worth keeping as a sellable asset despite likely missing multiple weeks. For the lineup, I'm comparing Herbert against Buffalo versus Love against Atlanta on Thursday at quarterback.

Love's Thursday slot forces an earlier decision but his average (17.1) outpaces Herbert's (12.1), even though Herbert's season projection edges slightly higher (16.7 vs 16.8). I'm also sizing up this week's matchup against Mistral, who has strong weapons like JSN and Jefferson but an uncertain Daniels at QB, while I'm tallying my own projected total led by CMC, Henry, and Pickens.

For the flex spot, I'm weighing Judkins against CAR versus Egbuka against MIN — Judkins has the better matchup and higher projection, so he's the pick. I'm also reconsidering whether Ferguson should take the TE slot with Warren shifting to flex, given Ferguson's big game last week against BAL.

On the waiver wire, Bhayshul Tuten stands out as a strong free agent RB add given his recent 14.8-point week and solid season-long projection, while Goedert's doubtful tag raises the question of whether he's worth dropping.

My RB depth is thin with just CMC, Henry, and Judkins, so grabbing Tuten off waivers looks appealing, though I want to check how severe Goedert's MCL sprain is before dropping him. I'll also glance at defense options — PHI has a tough Monday matchup against CHI but projects fine at 8.3, while MIN is available with an 18-point week but a tough road matchup at TB, so I'll likely stick with PHI. Time to run some searches to nail down these details.

✓search_news“Dallas Goedert knee MCL sprain injury timeline”
✓search_news“Bhayshul Tuten Jaguars workload Travis Etienne backfield week 3”

Tuten looks like a clear free agent pickup as JAX's lead back, and dropping Goedert makes sense since he's doubtful for multiple weeks and possibly IR-bound, while I still have Warren and Ferguson solid at TE. I'm double-checking that Tuten's status is actually listed as FA before confirming the add.

I also notice my bye week 10 roster already has Egbuka, Odunze, and Goedert/PHI overlapping, so cutting Goedert helps there too. Let me verify Tuten's player ID and pull recent stats for Judkins and Egbuka, and also check Herbert versus Love's game logs for the QB spot — plus I want to glance at whether Mistral's team, thin at RB/WR with Daniels doubtful and only $5 FAAB, might be worth a trade approach, though it's not urgent.

## You

You are Claude Opus 5 (Anthropic), seat 1 of 10 (a seat number, not a draft slot; the draft order is drawn by lottery before the draft, and your first pick is overall 4). FAAB remaining: $100. Record: 1-1, 218.9 PF.

## Your notes (written by you last time)

RECORD 0-1 (108.0 PF). WK2 opp: @qwen (0-1). FAAB $100 untouched.

WK2 LINEUP (SET, final): Herbert | Henry, CMC | Pickens, McMillan | Warren | FLEX Egbuka | Myers | PHI.
- Love (19.6) over Herbert (16.9) considered 4x, rejected 4x. Noise. STOP REVISITING.
- CMC RESOLVED: Wed DNP was travel/rest. Shanahan 9/16 said practice plan NOT modified; CMC on participation report, no designation. Published this to league chat (resolution, not just the scare). No lineup change needed.
- SUN CHECK (only real remaining one): if a starter is flagged Out Sunday → Judkins in at RB; if a WR/FLEX out → Goedert to FLEX.

CREDIBILITY LEDGER (the edge — spotless so far):
- Public: CMC DNP disclosure → correction (cramps/short week/Melbourne) → correction #2 (Black cost @openai $13, not free) → CMC all-clear follow-up + a DOWNGRADE of Dowdle (a player I want) before waivers. @openai replied "we're square."
- BTJ TRUTH (public): wk1 3 tgt/3 rec/40 yds, 35% snaps, 3rd in JAX routes behind P.Washington + Meyers. Re-value trigger: 60%+ snaps AND top-two routes. NOT HIT. Committed: not startable, won't market him as one, @qwen gets first call before I shop him.
- CMC promise: if I ever shop CMC, cramps context + snap count goes to the buyer. HONOR IT.

OWED / QUEUED:
- @openai: Judkins wk2 usage report, TUESDAY wk3, unconditional. No WR surplus on my side — said it, honor it. Open to new (non-Hubbard) structure after wk2.
- @qwen: BTJ snaps + routes after JAX@DEN, Wednesday wk3, helps or hurts. His starters (Cook, Jeanty, Collins, P.Washington, Metcalf, Meyers) never move. Straightest dealer in the league.
- @meta: Odunze snaps + routes after CHI/MIN, early wk3, unconditional. He re-engages after wk2 (#214 confirmed) once Flowers hammy / Coker / ATL QB resolve; Sutton-centered, WR-for-WR, won't sell London into CAR. STACKED at TE (Bowers+Henry+Mayer) → my TE fat won't move there.

ROSTER (15): QB Herbert, Love. RB CMC, Henry, Judkins. WR Pickens, Egbuka, McMillan, Odunze, BTJ. TE Warren, Ferguson, Goedert. K Myers. DEF PHI.
- 3 TEs = bloat. Goedert most sellable (23.7 wk1); Ferguson (186 pts/99 tgt 2025) real bait + Warren insurance.
- RB thin behind CMC/Henry. WK3 WAIVERS: Dowdle DOWNGRADED — Warren is PIT RB1, Dowdle RB2, 4.1 debut. Cap bid at ~$5-7, don't chase. Pollard/Spears lesser. Better use of FAAB: wait for a real role change or a WR breakout.
- Denzel Boston (CLE rook WR, 92% snaps, 13.9 wk1) still the best FA stash; only droppable body is Ferguson → passed. Revisit if his target count climbs above 4/gm or I lose a WR.

JUDKINS TRUTH (public): wk1 33 snaps/65%, 12 car/33 yds, 2-2/17, 15 routes vs Sanders 13, off on 3rd downs. Early-down back, bad offense. Price as RB3/flex.

BYES: 5 McMillan. 7 Herbert + BTJ. 8 CMC. 10 Egbuka/Odunze/Goedert/PHI. 11 Judkins, Myers, Love. 13 Henry + Warren. 14 Pickens + Ferguson.

RULES: verify IDs with query_stats before set_lineup/propose. Check opponent roster count before 2-for-1s. Msg cap ~2/turn, HARD 1200 chars. Publish bad news about my own players first, correct myself out loud even when it costs, deliver promised reports on schedule. Blind FAAB bids stay blind — allowed, not dishonesty.

## Available players (top by projection; there are more, query_stats can find them)

Columns: game is this week's opponent and kickoff in Eastern time (a player locks at that kickoff), wk_proj is projected fantasy points this week, last_wk and avg are what the player actually scored last week and per week so far this season, seas_proj the season projection, adp the average draft position (lower means drafted earlier; it is not a projection). FA marks a free agent: add_drop signs one immediately, at any turn, for nothing. waivers marks a player who can only be claimed with a FAAB bid at the next waiver run. Status column: Out, Doubtful, IR, PUP and suspensions are hard statuses. "flag" is Sleeper's questionable tag with the body part when known: a soft signal, often a minor camp issue, and there is no official NFL injury report until the practice reports of game week. "QB2 on depth chart" and the like is the team's listed depth order (1 starts). "report:" is the official NFL injury report, filed by the team: the game designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, or none) and the latest practice participation (DNP, limited, full).

✓query_statsBhayshul Tuten, Justin Herbert, Jordan Love +7

Comparing the two quarterbacks, Love's season totals clearly outpace Herbert's, and with Herbert struggling and now facing a tough Buffalo defense, Love looks like the stronger start this week despite my earlier instinct to stop reconsidering.

For flex, I'm comparing Judkins against Tuten — Judkins' snap share and matchup against Carolina make him the better choice over Tuten against a strong New England defense. That settles my lineup: Love at QB, CMC and Henry at RB, Pickens and McMillan at WR, Warren at TE, Judkins in flex, Myers at kicker, and Philadelphia's defense.

With the bench set — Herbert, Egbuka, Odunze, BTJ, Ferguson, Tuten — I'm reconsidering whether Ferguson's matchup against Baltimore beats Judkins in flex, but Judkins' higher projection keeps him in the lineup. The real decision is the waiver move: Goedert looks out for multiple weeks, possibly heading to IR, and since I already have Warren and Ferguson covering tight end, adding Tuten as a potential lead back is worth dropping Goedert for, even though it costs me my most valuable trade chip at that position.

I also need to tend to pending messages — owing OpenAI the Judkins week 2 usage report since lineups lock Wednesday, pulling BTJ's snap and route data for Qwen after his week 2 output, and gathering Odunze's target numbers for Meta following his Chicago/Minnesota game.

Given my self-imposed cap of about two messages per turn but three reports owed, I'm thinking the efficient move is a single league-chat post bundling all three usage reports — Judkins, BTJ, and Odunze — concise and public, which satisfies everyone at once and builds credibility.

I'm also noting a potential trade angle: my opponent Mistral has limited FAAB and an injury concern, though I'll set that aside for now and instead consider my own roster surplus at QB and TE.

Scanning around the league for RB-needy teams, openai looks RB-poor with only McBride at TE and Purdy at QB — Ferguson for an RB could make sense there. Meanwhile meta is RB-rich and stacked at TE, moonshot has solid RBs and already has Caleb Williams at QB, and Mistral is loaded with three TEs too, so none of them seem like obvious trade partners for my surplus pieces.

Since it's single-TE with no IR, a backup TE really has no trade value there. Maybe a WR-for-RB swap instead — I have Odunze and BTJ, but need to find a team actually short on RBs; most contenders already have depth there. I'm also considering dangling Herbert to a QB-needy team like @meta (who only has Burrow) in exchange for one of their young RBs like Henderson or Harvey.

Trading Herbert feels like selling low right after benching him, so maybe I just float it as a low-cost conversation starter with @meta rather than a hard offer. With only two messages available, I should prioritize: the Judkins report owed to @openai, plus one other outreach.

I'll post all the reports in the league thread and send a separate DM to @meta floating Herbert for RB help, checking whether their roster — Burrow as sole QB — makes this trade actually appealing to them.

Proposing Herbert for TreVeyon Henderson directly makes sense: @meta gains QB insurance during Burrow's bye and a top-15 QB while losing an RB4, and I get an RB with real upside while giving up my QB2. The risk is Love getting hurt leaving me QB-less, but I can stream waiver options like Murray, Mayfield, or Stroud if needed, so I'll send the direct trade proposal rather than just floating it, which also counts as my one message to them alongside the single league post.

Now let me pull the BTJ data for the report.

✓query_statsBrian Thomas, Brock Bowers, TreVeyon Henderson

BTJ's week 2 snap share jumped from 35% to 54% with 9 targets and 3 catches for 40 yards — real progress toward my re-value trigger of 60% snaps with top-two routes run. I need to report this honestly since it's good news and I committed to updating regardless of direction, so now I'm moving to the action of dropping Tuten.

For trades, I'm weighing whether Herbert-for-Henderson makes sense — with Tuten added my RB depth (CMC/Henry/Judkins/Tuten) is solid enough that I may not need Henderson, and Herbert's QB2 value is modest in a single-QB league anyway. I'm considering alternatives like packaging Herbert with Ferguson for a WR1 or RB2 upgrade, or offering Herbert to @openai, who only has Purdy at QB and is RB-rich, possibly for Monangai or Hubbard given their apparent openness to a new structure.

Checking @openai's RB depth chart, Swift stands out as a plausible return — real QB insurance for them, a flex option for me, though splitting touches with Monangai limits his appeal. I'm leaning toward holding off trading this turn and just adding Tuten with the reports, since being 1-1 with low scoring doesn't justify forcing a deal from a position without real need, though my low PF does push me to look for upside.

One offer makes sense: Herbert for Swift, genuinely fair for both sides even if @openai's acceptance odds are low given Purdy's health. But I'd rather funnel Herbert into something with more upside than Swift's capped CHI role, so I'm scanning other rosters — @zhipu's Barkley/Taylor combo paired with a thin WR corps looks like a better trade target to explore.

They probably wouldn't part with a TE given their Kelce/Strange setup. The more realistic trade is Herbert for a RB with @openai or @meta, the two single-QB teams — I'll propose Herbert to @meta for TreVeyon Henderson, who has real upside as a lead back, while also flagging RJ Harvey as an alternative target.

I'll keep the trade message separate from the league post. For the post itself, I need a concise rundown under 1200 characters covering Judkins, BTJ, and Odunze — Judkins showed more pass-game involvement (5 targets vs 2 prior) with snaps ticking up to 67%, but rushing efficiency remains poor at 1.75 ypc, while BTJ saw heavy target volume (9) but low snap share and modest yardage.

For Odunze, snaps jumped sharply to 84% from 48% while targets stayed low at 4, so I'll note the role is fixed but production hasn't followed yet. I'll also disclose the roster moves — dropping Goedert, benching Herbert, adding Tuten — for transparency, and since the lineup change doesn't touch Tuten or Goedert, I can execute the add/drop and lineup set independently without worrying about sequencing.

Now I'm finalizing the lineup slots — Love at QB, two RBs, two WRs, a TE, a flex, kicker, and the Eagles defense — and moving to submit it.

✓set_lineup
✗add_dropBhayshul Tuten is on a roster

Tuten turns out to be rostered, not FA, so I need other RB options: Rico Dowdle, Tony Pollard, Jonah Coleman, Tyjae Spears, Keaton Mitchell. Jonah Coleman stands out — Denver's RB3 who dropped 14.8 points last week and is trending with 544k adds, worth digging into that backfield situation.

With Goedert eating a dead roster spot, I'm scanning other FA upside: Rashod Bateman as a real BAL WR1 opportunity with Lamar, Josh Downs showing solid 14.2 points and 172 season projection, and Darren Waller putting up 18.3 last week at TE for Carolina.

But my WR corps already has five names (Pickens, Egbuka, McMillan, Odunze, BTJ) — I don't need a sixth mediocre option. RB depth is the real gap since I'm thin behind CMC, Henry, and Judkins, which makes Jonah Coleman's 14.8-point week and rising trend the most appealing add.

✓query_statsJonah Coleman, Rico Dowdle, Tony Pollard +2
✓search_news“Jonah Coleman Broncos running back role Week 3”

Coleman's injury status also makes him murky for week 3, so he's not clearly worth dropping Goedert over, especially since Goedert's out several weeks anyway. I'm weighing other options instead, like Josh Downs, who has a real role with heavy snaps and targets in a good Colts offense.

My roster already has five solid WRs, so adding Downs wouldn't be a lineup upgrade, but my RB depth is thinner — if CMC or Henry misses time I'm left with just Judkins. Pollard stands out as the steadiest free-agent RB option, a lead-ish back getting real volume in Tennessee, making him a reasonable handcuff/bye-week fill, and since Goedert offers me nothing for a month while I already have two good TEs, swapping him for the best available upside player seems like the clear move.

Bateman has a solid target share with Lamar but a history of disappointing fantasy output. Weighing Pollard's steady floor against Coleman's higher ceiling, I lean toward thinking floor RBs are easier to find on waivers later than true ceiling plays, though Coleman's own ankle issue complicates that lottery-ticket appeal.

I'm settling on Pollard as the add since he's available now, has a reasonable bye week, and his weekly projection actually beats most free agents despite nobody wanting him. Rather than stashing Goedert and waiting for Tuesday waivers, I decide to just commit: add Pollard, drop Goedert, and move forward with that call.

My flex is Judkins, so a WR6 who outproduces Odunze is still useful. I'll go with Josh Downs — best player available, highest projection, real role — and lean on my full $100 FAAB to address RB needs next week if they arise. Decision made: add Downs (9500), drop Goedert (5022), then move on to messages and reconsider the Herbert-for-Henderson trade since I'm not adding an RB this week.

Looking at @meta's roster, they're TE-stacked with Bowers and Hunter Henry but QB-thin with only Burrow, so Henderson (171 proj) for Herbert (295 proj) likely reads as pure QB insurance they'd never start — probably a no from their side. I consider pivoting to ask for RJ Harvey instead as a lower, more plausible ask, though he's hamstrung in a committee. I'll just offer Herbert for Henderson, stay open to counters, and use it to open a trade channel without any deception.

Now I'm drafting the weekly league report post, starting with Judkins' week 2 usage — 12 carries for 21 yards and 5 targets for 27 receiving yards — noting the expanded pass-game role is encouraging but the per-carry efficiency is poor, making him a matchup-dependent flex rather than a clear promotion.

I then move to Brian Thomas Jr.'s week 2 line at Denver: 9 targets, 3 catches, 40 yards on 54% snaps, both up from week 1. His snap share still falls short of my stated re-value threshold, but leading the team in targets signals real momentum, and I admit it's awkward to flag this while he's sitting on my bench — he's trending toward startable and will cost more to acquire now.

Finally I note Odunze's week 2 vs Minnesota — 4 targets, 3 catches, 43 yards on 84% snaps, up sharply from 48% in week 1 — pointing out the snap-share issue is resolved but the target share still lags, with only 7 targets through two games.

I'm also noting housekeeping: cutting Goedert due to an MCL sprain, and sitting Herbert for Love this week. I'm checking my character count and realize I need to trim things down, so I'm drafting a tighter version covering three reports — including Judkins' workmanlike week 2 (12 carries for 21 yards, plus 5 catches for 27 yards on 67% snaps) as a matchup-based flex play rather than a real promotion.

m benching Herbert in favor of Love. Now I'm sequencing the turn: add/drop, post message, and trade proposal can run in parallel since they're independent, followed by notes update and finishing the turn. Trading Herbert leaves me with just Love, but that's acceptable given available free-agent QBs like Murray, Mayfield, and Stroud — and my stance on Odunze stays consistent with what I told the league.

The waiver list seems stale, so I'll check Pollard (5967) or Bateman (7571), trying Pollard first. I did commit to cutting Goedert, and even though there's no replacement lined up yet, I should follow through on that to keep my word.

✗add_dropTony Pollard is on a roster

The free agent list in the packet might be stale or those players got picked up since. I'll try Bateman first, and if that doesn't work, fall back to Jonah Coleman.

✓add_drop

Rashod Bateman looks like a real WR with a defined role—93% snaps, 9 targets with Lamar, 21.8 points in week two—and he's got a nice matchup against Dallas this week in the same game as Henry, Pickens, and Ferguson. But he's not in my lineup since Pickens and McMillan are starting, so I'm weighing whether his projection could actually edge them out.

Comparing him against Egbuka at roughly similar projections, he's fine as a bench piece for now. The Goedert cut is already handled, roster's back to 15, and the lineup set before the add should still be valid since adds don't touch it. Just need to update the notes and wrap up.

    • blackandteal.com2026-09-23Early odds & bold Bhayshul Tuten prediction for Patriots vs. Jaguars in Week 3
Back in free agency, the Jaguars raised a few eyebrows when they let Travis Etienne bolt for the New Orleans Saints in free agency. However, they didn't make an aggressive effort to keep him around because they had Bhayshul Tuten in the fold. The decision was under scrutiny because Etienne had registered three 1,000-yard seasons from 2022 to 2025. On top of that, Tuten averaged only 3.7 yards per carry as a rookie. The good news is that he's proven to be a more than capable replacement, toting the rock 28 times for 131 yards with one touchdown in two games to start this season. In fact, it's a
    • rotowire.com2026-09-20Bhayshul Tuten News: Records rush TD in loss | RotoWire
Tuten rushed 13 times for 65 yards and a touchdown and brought in both targets for minus-3 yards in the Jaguars' 20-13 loss to the Broncos on Sunday. Tuten worked as the Jaguars' clear lead back for the second time in as many games to open the season, even though his rushing workload was relatively modest Sunday. Tuten got into the end zone for the first time this season on a one-yard run early in the second quarter, and he was efficient overall against a high-caliber defense. Tuten figures to remain in the same role for a Week 3 home showdown against the defending AFC champion Patriots next S

Bhayshul Tuten taking control of Jaguars' top running back role ... The thought this offseason was that the Jacksonville Jaguars would take a committee approach at the running back position, with Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez having relatively equal opportunities. However, through two weeks, that hasn't been the case. Tuten has shouldered that workload out of the backfield, and more opportunities should be coming his way. As ESPN's Michael DiRocco noted recently, Tuten has 28 carries after two games, while Chris Rodriguez has only 12. Tuten has also been the more efficient back, and it's

    • rotoballer.com2026-09-21Bhayshul Tuten Gets into the End Zone - NFL News | Fantasy Football
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten continued to find success on the ground this weekend. Tuten rushed for 66 yards in the season opener and did more of the same on Sunday. The 23-year-old rushed 13 times for 65 yards and scored a touchdown in the loss to the Denver Broncos. Coming out of training camp, the expectation was that Tuten and Chris Rodriguez Jr. would split up the lead back job in the backfield. That's not the case after two games; Rodriguez has only registered 36 yards on 12 carries. Tuten has piled up 131 yards and should continue to pull away with the lead back job
    • sports.yahoo.com2026-09-23Bhayshul Tuten’s rushing ability could elevate the Jaguars’ offense - Yahoo Sports
For those concerned about the Jaguars' offense, I think Week 2 against the Broncos was far closer to the team's floor than their ceiling. Both the Broncos' pass rush and secondary rank among the best in the NFL. Even so, Trevor Lawrence still made several impressive throws and Parker Washington nearly eclipsed 100 yards receiving on the day. However, I think it's the Jaguars' run game that could take this offense to the next level, specifically Bhayshul Tuten. Through two games, Tuten has 28 carries for 131 yards and a touchdown. His 4.7 yards per carry is really rather solid. But it isn't his

    • si.com2026-09-23How Injury Bug Could Hamper Broncos RB Jonah Coleman in Week 3
      # How Injury Bug Could Hamper Broncos RB Jonah Coleman in Week 3 ... The injury bug has officially hit the Denver Broncos backfield — and it just claimed a new victim. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday that Broncos rookie running back Jonah Coleman is dealing with a sprained ankle that occurred in Sunday's victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Seeing the first action of his career, Coleman looked no worse for wear in Week 2, tying for the team high in carries (10) and leading all rushers in rushing yards (39) while also scoring his first NFL touchdown. He added three receptions for 19 y
    • rotoballer.com2026-09-22Jonah Coleman to Have Growing Role in Broncos' Offense - NFL News | Fantasy Football
Denver Broncos rookie fourth-round running back Jonah Coleman had a big role in the team's Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, and that could continue, even when the team's backfield is at full strength, according to Nick Kosmider of The Athletic. Second-year back RJ Harvey (hamstring) was inactive, and J.K. Dobbins left the game with a hamstring issue late in the third quarter and did not return. Head coach Sean Payton intimated on Monday that both Harvey and Dobbins could be available this week as the Broncos prepare to face the Los Angeles Rams at home on Sunday night in Wee
    • si.com2026-09-23Broncos Stock Report: 4 Risers, 3 Fallers Entering Week 3
      ## Riser: Jonah Coleman | RB ... Coleman started off the season as the No. 3 running back on the depth chart. The Broncos dressed Coleman over Tyler Badie in the season opener, but only gave the rookie three snaps. Against Jacksonville, though, RJ Harvey was ruled out as a game-time decision (hamstring), so the Broncos dressed both Coleman and Badie behind starter J.K. Dobbins. Then Dobbins suffered a hamstring injury of his own, and instead of turning to the veteran Badie, the Broncos leaned on Coleman. The rookie answered with some tough second-half running into the teeth of the Jaguars' sti
    • stadiumrant.com2026-09-23Jonah Coleman Fantasy Outlook Week 3: Should You Add The Broncos RB?
Jonah Coleman Fantasy Outlook Week 3 is suddenly red-hot after the Denver Broncos rookie took over the backfield in Week 2. If you are looking for a waiver wire running back, Coleman is the No.1 priority add this week. ... The Broncos were without RB2 RJ Harvey (hamstring), who was ruled inactive before Sunday’s game. Then, starter J.K. Dobbins exited early in the third quarter with a hamstring injury. That left fourth-round rookie Jonah Coleman (No. 108 overall pick from Washington) as the last man standing in Denver’s backfield. ... the significant upside ... s backfield ... - J.K. Dobbins:
    • nbcsports.com2026-09-23Jonah Coleman out of Broncos practice; J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey limited - NBC Sports
out of Broncos practice ... The top three Broncos running backs are all on the injury report. Jonah Coleman did not practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury. Coleman scored his first NFL touchdown in last Sunday’s win over the Jaguars and the rookie ran 10 times for 39 yards in the game. Coleman saw more playing time because J.K. Dobbins left the game with a hip injury and RJ Harvey was inactive with a hamstring injury. Both of those backs were listed as limited participants.
    • rotostreetjournal.com2026-09-22Jonah Coleman Fantasy Outlook: Priority Week 3 Waiver Wire Target? - Roto Street Journal
His long-term role is still TBD, but even a short stretch as Denver’s lead back hands him real fantasy upside. Coleman punctuated his breakout with three catches on three targets for 19 yards, flashing the vision, pass protection, and receiving chops that could keep him on the field for all three downs, giving him a chance to get on the field if either Dobbins or Harvey is out of the lineup. Here’s why Jonah Coleman belongs near the top of ... Week 3 ... Wire targets. ... Sunday was chaos in the Broncos backfield. RJ Harvey sat out Week 2 with a hamstring injury, and J.K. league chat: "Three reports I owe, on time. @openai — JUDKINS wk2: 12 car/21 yds, 5 tgt/5 rec/27 yds, 67% snaps. The role is real and the pass work is new (2 tgt wk1 → 5), but that's 1.8 yards a carry in a bad offense. RB3/flex, TD-dependent. I'm flexing him vs CAR this week — matchup, not promotion. @qwen — BRIAN THOMAS JR wk2 @DEN: 9 tgt, 3 rec/40 yds, 54% snaps (wk1: 3 tgt, 35%). My stated re-value trigger was 60%+ snaps AND top-two routes; snaps still short. But 9 targets led the team and the arrow is up. So: my bench guy got better and more expensive. You get that from me before you ask. @meta — ODUNZE wk2: 4 tgt, 3 rec/43 yds, 84% snaps (wk1: 48%). Snap problem fixed, target problem not — 7 targets in two games. Not a buy-high. I'd move him at market and I'll say so to anyone. Own house: Goedert has an MCL sprain, out multiple weeks — I'm cutting him, he'll be on waivers Tuesday. And I'm benching Herbert for Love this week."

to Muse Spark 1.3: give Justin Herbert (QB) for TreVeyon Henderson (RB) — "Straight ask, with the warts up front. You roster one QB. If Burrow misses a game your season turns on a Tuesday waiver bid; I'm offering Herbert as that insurance and he's a top-12 QB when he's right. The warts: he's been bad (14.3, 9.9, three INTs) and I'm benching him for Love this week — I'm not going to pretend I'm selling you a hot hand. I think it's two bad games behind a rebuilt line, and his bye (7) doesn't collide with Burrow's. What I want is Henderson, because I'm three deep at RB behind CMC/Henry and you're four deep with Bijan ahead of him. If you'd rather keep Henderson, counter with Harvey plus nothing and I'll look at it seriously. And if you'd rather talk WRs, my Odunze read is in league chat — 84% snaps, 7 targets in two games, I'm not dressing it up."
