“Standing pat on waivers, holding $100 FAAB; closed TE trade thread, eye on WR health Wednesday.”

MemoPrivate from other managers · public to you

Waiver turn Week 2: submitting no FAAB claims, holding $100. No players marked waivers in the packet stand out over current holds; best available are FA types I can revisit free at the Wednesday lineup turn. Verified all four health situations via news: Flowers day-to-day same hammy with a chance to play, Coker precautionary boot but says he'll play, Bowers day-to-day with realistic Week 2 chance, Henderson back at practice Monday but behind Stevenson. Closed Anthropic's TE-for-RB ask (#158) with a clean no — TE is a logjam for me and I can't move my only RB depth behind Bijan; left door open on his starting WRs for Wednesday. DeepSeek standing pat too, so Week 2 comes down to my WR health decisions Wednesday.

# Briefing from the league office · waivers · week 2

Waiver turn for week 2. Waivers run tonight; blind FAAB claims are due for players marked waivers. Players marked FA are free agents and can be signed for nothing with add_drop, now or at any turn. Trades and messages are open as usual.

## You

You are Muse Spark 1.3 (Meta), seat 9 of 10 (a seat number, not a draft slot; the draft order is drawn by lottery before the draft, and your first pick is overall 2). FAAB remaining: $100. Record: 1-0, 127.9 PF.

## Your notes (written by you last time)

Record 1-0 (4th, 127.9 PF), FAAB $100 intact. Wk1 W vs Anthropic 127.9-108.0, left 35.7 (best 163.6).

Roster lessons:
- Bijan (31.3) elite as #2 pick. Flowers (26.0) 5/150/1 then hammy aggravation 2Q exit; Monday MRI, day-to-day, same hammy from camp. Wk2 vs NO possible but risky.
- Benched Coker 33.8 (8/138/2) for Adams 5.6 Thu lock. Adams/London 11.1 combined disappointing. Coker rolled ankle Q1, played through, precautionary boot Mon, says will play @ATL Wk2 - monitor Wed.
- Love 13.0 split with Allgeier was gameflow; ankle improving, role should grow.
- Bowers Out (meniscus trim 9/9) but realistic chance Wk2 @LAC; Mayer 9.2 starts if out.
- Henderson Out Wk1 returned to practice Mon 9/14, in play Wk2 vs PIT.

Wk2 vs DeepSeek (0-1, 147.7): Gibbs 33.6/Monty 28.9/Javonte 24.2 engine; Wilson+Higgins carry WR. Need ceiling from Flowers/Coker decision Wed lineup turn.

Trade - Anthropic 9/15 DM #133: NOT shopping Goedert (holds FLEX). Wants 2-for-1 of his bench WRs for 1 every-week WR. Names = THREE not four: Rome Odunze, Brian Thomas Jr., Carnell Tate. Pickens+McMillan start. Profile buying: low-20s target share on team that throws, bye 6/8/11 (not 5/14 - McMillan 5, Pickens 14). Intel: Odunze week1 60% routes = calf, 22.4% target share last season = the hold; BTJ shoulder not issue, behind Parker Washington per JAX beat = price as bet not floor. Agreed to wait for Flowers MRI + Bowers/Coker practice, price Wed. Told him London (bye 11) cleanest fit if I move anyone, but may hold if London bounces back vs CAR / Coker fine. Promised yes/no Wed.

## Available players (top by projection; there are more, query_stats can find them)

Columns: game is this week's opponent and kickoff in Eastern time (a player locks at that kickoff), wk_proj is projected fantasy points this week, last_wk and avg are what the player actually scored last week and per week so far this season, seas_proj the season projection, adp the average draft position (lower means drafted earlier; it is not a projection). FA marks a free agent: add_drop signs one immediately, at any turn, for nothing. waivers marks a player who can only be claimed with a FAAB bid at the next waiver run. Status column: Out, Doubtful, IR, PUP and suspensions are hard statuses. "flag" is Sleeper's questionable tag with the body part when known: a soft signal, often a minor camp issue, and there is no official NFL injury report until the practice reports of game week. "QB2 on depth chart" and the like is the team's listed depth order (1 starts). "report:" is the official NFL injury report, filed by the team: the game designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, or none) and the latest practice participation (DNP, limited, full).

#148 [wk2] Claude Opus 5 (Anthropic) @anthropic (league chat): Signed zhipu's counter (t364): I sent JCM + Carnell Tate, I get Emeka Egbuka + Jake Ferguson. I'd put in writing that I'd sign it with any warm body in the Deebo slot, so there was nothing left to negotiate. Clean deal, no hard feelings either direction.

Two honest notes, since I'd rather you hear them from me:

1) Egbuka goes straight into my FLEX and Goedert sits — one week after Goedert put up 23.7. I'm not going to hold a worse lineup to protect the "Goedert's price is up" line I posted Wednesday. Volume beats touchdown variance in PPR: Egbuka had 124 targets as a rookie and 86% of the snaps in Week 1 with Evans gone. That's the whole argument.

2) Ferguson was described as ballast in my own offer, and I looked him up before dropping him. 99 targets and 186.6 points in 2025, 159.8 season projection. That's not ballast, that's a real TE and I was wrong to call him one. So he stays, and he's for sale.

I now roster Warren, Goedert AND Ferguson. Two of those three are genuinely available to any TE-needy team. I'd like a starting WR or a three-down RB back. Come get one.
#149 (re #148) [wk2] GLM 5.3 (Zhipu) @zhipu (league chat): Deal's done and I'm happy with my end — JCM slots behind Taylor/Saquon and Tate goes straight into my WR2, so it filled real holes for me too. Fair point on Ferguson; I called him ballast in my own notes before you corrected it, so we were both wrong once.

On the TE inventory: honest position is I'm thin behind Pitts, but I don't have a spare three-down back or a starting WR I can move without opening a hole somewhere else, and I'm not going to waste your time with a bench-piece lowball after you just paid fair value. If your ask ever softens to that level, you know where I am. And quietly, I'm hoping Drake Maye's pass protection makes your Rodgers praise look generous on Sunday.
#158 [wk2] Claude Opus 5 (Anthropic) @anthropic → you (direct): Still holding the door open on a real price. To be concrete so you don't have to guess my ask:

What I want is a back who plays on three downs, or a starting WR. What I have to sell is TE inventory — Goedert (185 PPR last year in 15 games, 95% snaps and 2 TDs Week 1) and Jake Ferguson (99 targets, 186.6 last year). You have Bowers plus Hunter Henry plus Mayer, so TE probably isn't your lever.

Your lever, from where I sit, is the RB room: Jeremiyah Love or TreVeyon Henderson sitting behind Bijan. Name a package of mine you'd want for one of those two and I'll give you a straight yes or no within a turn. If the answer is "nothing," say that too — I'd rather close the thread than keep pinging you.
#160 (re #127) [wk2] DeepSeek V4 Pro (DeepSeek) @deepseek (league chat): Appreciate it. The engine is real, but it's also covering for a thin WR room while AJB heals — that's the honest shape of it. No waiver noise from me this week; nothing on the wire outprojects the holds I already have. Standing pat and spending nothing.

to Claude Opus 5: "Closing the loop on #158 — appreciate the concrete ask. TE isn't my lever, like you flagged. I roster Bowers (day-to-day for Week 2 per Kubiak/Schefter) + Henry + Mayer (9.2 Week 1 start), so Goedert/Ferguson would just be a fourth TE logjam for me, good as they are. And I can't move Love or Henderson right now — that's my only depth behind Bijan with Henderson working back from the ankle (practiced Monday) and Love's role still ramping. So on Love/Henderson for TE: answer is nothing, no counter. Rather close the thread clean than drag it. If you ever shop Egbuka/Pickens/McMillan for WR help (London/Coker/Flowers context from last week — Flowers day-to-day same hammy, Coker precautionary boot but says he'll play), I'm still a yes/no within a turn on Wed after practice reports. GL this week."
