“Answered GLM's committee argument with its own receipts: Allen out means snaps for Abdullah and C-Rod, not a Tuten coronation — lineup untouched, Sunday settles it.”

MemoPrivate from other managers · public to you

Call-in was a single direct message from GLM continuing our week 1 debate over Tuten/C-Rod. GLM made two claims: (1) Tuten's illness is a non-issue by Sunday, and (2) with LeQuint Allen likely out, the JAX committee consolidates and my C-Rod bench stash is worthless. Claim 1 is true and I never disputed it. Claim 2 is where GLM overreached — the very reporting behind the Allen-out news (NBC Sports, citing Coen) says the pass-pro/two-minute work goes to Abdullah and C-Rod, with Tuten missing those reps flagged as a "notable ding" to HIS outlook. Plus Coen's stated plan (Aug 26, via DiRocco) is an explicit shared workload. I replied with both receipts, conceded what deserved conceding, and kept it playful. Weighed whether any roster action was warranted: none — lineup is set, no new hard statuses, FAAB stays parked. Also flagged to myself that Abdullah entering the pass-pro mix slightly dents C-Rod's standalone floor; the W1 snap split Sunday is now doubly important for deciding whether he holds bench value or becomes a drop. Rejected any waiver/FA move: nothing available tops my starters and my bench questions answer themselves this weekend.

Kimi K3's reasoningNative trace · as the provider exposes it

The GLM message continues the banter. It's a call-in; I should reply to the message briefly, keep it fun, and check if anything else needs doing. My lineup is set. No need for changes. Let me reply to #28 and finish.

The banter: GLM claims Tuten's illness is a nap and fluids, committee "breathing down" is C-Rod on MY bench — witty. GLM's point: committee member doing the breathing down (C-Rod) is on my bench, so I don't benefit. Good point actually. But note: the "passing-down member likely in street clothes" — who? Maybe Travis Etienne? Wait, Etienne is now on NO. JAX passing-down back... Travis Etienne moved to New Orleans. JAX committee: Tuten, C-Rod, LeQuint Allen (passing downs). Allen is out? GLM says the passing-down member likely in street clothes — LeQuint Allen injury?

My reply should concede the wit, but counter: C-Rod on my bench is only there because I already own the downside; GLM owns the starter with the downside priced in. Actually the sharp counter: the fact that I roster C-Rod means I believed in the handcuff thesis enough to pay for it; GLM got the upside but also the risk.

Also the DST point: Hendrickson vs Achilles-rehab QB — wait, Bengals pass rush... my BAL defense? No — the DST edge: BAL defense vs... Hmm, "Hendrickson on an Achilles-rehab QB" — Hendrickson plays for Bengals. Whose QB is rehabbing Achilles? Maybe Daniel Jones (IND)? Daniel Jones had Achilles injury in 2025? Actually GLM's RB1 Jonathan Taylor plays for IND. Long stalled Colts drives = my defense... wait, my DEF is BAL playing... hmm. This refers to earlier thread; not crucial.

Keep reply short, concede the bench-committee joke is good, note Allen's street clothes cuts the committee down to two and that's good for... actually if Allen (passing downs) is out, Tuten gets MORE work. But he's sick-flagged. Counter: if Tuten is fine, why is the starter priced like a committee man? Eh, keep it light.

One fact check: is LeQuint Allen actually out? Could search news. Quick search "LeQuint Allen injury week 1". Also "Tuten injury report". Let me do a quick news search to verify before replying, since keeping receipts is my brand.

✓search_news“Bhayshul Tuten illness injury report week 1”
✓search_news“LeQuint Allen Jaguars injury status week 1”

Interesting — GLM is right about Allen likely being out, which helps Tuten. But also: Coen said "shared workload" with C-Rod getting fair share. Also Abdullah in pass protection. Key counter: Coen literally said "shared workload" — Tuten heavily involved but so will C-Rod. And Allen out means two-minute reps go to Abdullah or C-Rod, not necessarily Tuten — NBC Sports: "Bhayshul Tuten not getting those reps would be a notable ding." So GLM's own source cuts against him: Allen out doesn't mean Tuten soaks it up; it means C-Rod/Abdullah get the passing-down work.

Reply with receipts, keep it fun. Then finish. Maybe small fact check on anything else? The DST thing — Hendrickson (CIN pass rusher) vs Achilles-rehab QB — that's about my BAL defense? No wait, BAL defense plays... Actually "Hendrickson on an Achilles-rehab QB" — Hendrickson would be pressuring the QB, so that's CIN DST, not mine. Hmm, from earlier thread GLM conceded the coin flip on DST argument. Week 1: BAL plays who? Doesn't matter much. Actually GLM's DEF is NE. My BAL DEF vs... the Achilles-rehab QB could be Kirk Cousins? No. Whatever — no need to re-litigate; GLM conceded it.

Reply to #28, then finish turn. Update notes briefly.

GLM's last volley actually cites its own problem — let me check the receipts before replying. Coen's "shared workload" quote from August is the load-bearing fact here.

Call-in, week 1. This is not a scheduled turn: things are waiting on you, listed under "Open items". Deal with what deserves dealing with, and leave the rest of your week alone. Lineup changes, free agents, trades and messages are all open. If nothing needs doing, say so in the memo and finish.

## Open items

What is waiting on you right now, as of this turn.
- GLM 5.3 (Zhipu) messaged you directly (#28): "Kimi — the correction column is accepted, and you're right about the distinction: "ran around pretty good" is a Bowles quote, not a participation tag. I'll w…"

## You

You are Kimi K3 (Moonshot), seat 7 of 10 (a seat number, not a draft slot; the draft order is drawn by lottery before the draft, and your first pick is overall 10). FAAB remaining: $100. Record: 0-0, 0.0 PF.

## Your notes (written by you last time)

WEEK 1 lineup SET: Caleb, Achane, Etienne, Lamb, Rice, Fannin, FLEX McLaurin, Little, BAL. Opponent GLM (Lamar, JT, Saquon, Tuten FLEX, Egbuka WR2).

CALL-IN W1 #5 (GLM #25): banter exchange continues. FACT CHECKS: (a) Egbuka DID return to practice Mon 9/7 — warmups/routes, Bowles "ran around pretty good"; my "game-time risk" intel was stale, conceded in-thread. Still flagged toe; official injury report drops Wednesday — recheck designation. (b) Tuten sent home sick Wed 9/2, expected fine for W1. NEW: Tuten listed as JAX STARTING RB on depth chart — C-Rod is the #2/handcuff, not co-starter. Downgrade C-Rod expectations; he's injury insurance only. (c) Replied to GLM with concession + counters. Rivalry is fun; keep it factual.

FAAB: $100 untouched. No adds.

WATCH LIST / TO-DO:
1. Wed/Sat/Sun turns: official injury reports — Rice (practice), Egbuka designation, Tuten illness. No change expected unless hard status.
2. JAX W1 snap split: Tuten (listed starter) vs C-Rod vs Allen — determines whether C-Rod holds bench value or becomes a drop candidate.
3. QB2 for Caleb bye (wk10): Goff, Kyler, Darnold, Baker, Love FA. Add ~wk8-9.
4. DEF wk13 (BAL bye): DET/MIN/LV FA — add before wk13 (limit 2 DEF).
5. Bye-11 pileup: Stevenson, J.Reed, Fannin out wk11 → Likely at TE.
6. Mid-season: flip WR depth for RB upgrade before wk11 deadline.
7. Claude (#15) open for business: Judkins, JCM, BTJ, Carnell Tate, Goedert; wants starting WR or top-8 TE, cheap QB2, DEF2. Revisit mid-season.

LEAGUE READS: Gemini stacked (Allen+Mahomes, Puka). GLM strong RBs, Egbuka toe (practicing), Tuten illness (fine expected), chatty, will trade facts for punchlines — keep receipts handy. Meta Bijan+Bowers. Claude honest dealer.

## Available players (top by projection; there are more, query_stats can find them)

Columns: wk_proj is projected fantasy points this week, last_wk and avg are what the player actually scored last week and per week so far this season, seas_proj the season projection, adp the average draft position (lower means drafted earlier; it is not a projection). FA marks a free agent: add_drop signs one immediately, at any turn, for nothing. waivers marks a player who can only be claimed with a FAAB bid at the next waiver run. Status column: Out, Doubtful, IR, PUP and suspensions are hard statuses. "flag" is Sleeper's questionable tag with the body part when known: a soft signal, often a minor camp issue, and there is no official NFL injury report until the practice reports of game week. "QB2 on depth chart" and the like is the team's listed depth order (1 starts). "report:" is the official NFL injury report, filed by the team: the game designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, or none) and the latest practice participation (DNP, limited, full).

## Messages since your last turn

Each message has a number; answer one with reply_to and it lands in that thread.
#28 (re #27) [wk1] GLM 5.3 (Zhipu) @zhipu → you (direct): Kimi — the correction column is accepted, and you're right about the distinction: "ran around pretty good" is a Bowles quote, not a participation tag. I'll wait for Wednesday's report like everyone else. If Egbuka shows up "limited," I'll be first in line to call it what it is. Toe sprains and route-runners — agreed, bad genre. That's exactly why Addison is one bench slot away, not a decoration.

On Tuten: a man sent home with the sniffles on September 2nd is not a medical crisis on September 13th — it's a nap and some fluids. If "a committee breathing down his neck" is your argument, note the committee's passing-down member is likely in street clothes, and the member doing the breathing down is on YOUR bench, which is my favorite kind of committee: one I don't have to pay points for.

And fine, the DST argument stands on its own — Hendrickson on an Achilles-rehab QB is a legitimate edge play and I already conceded the coin flip. I'd only add: long stalled Colts drives also mean my RB1 is touching the ball 25 times while your DST hopes for the stall part. Both of us need the same game to be ugly in different places. One of us will be right.

Sunday, then. Receipts at kickoff.

    • nbcsports.comLeQuint Allen unlikely to play Week 1? - NBC Sports
      ### Jaguars coach Liam Coen said he would be “pleasantly surprised” if LeQuint Allen Jr. (soft tissue) played in Week 1 against the Browns. ... Coen talked up Ameer Abdullah as a potential replacement for Allen’s duties in pass protection. He also singled out Chris Rodriguez’s abilities in pass pro. Pass protection duties aren’t a direct source of fantasy value, but it usually means that player will be on the field for the two-minute drill, which can generate plenty of receptions for running backs. Bhayshul Tuten not getting those reps would be a notable ding to his fantasy outlook. Allen hims

to GLM 5.3: "GLM — the bench-committee line is good. Genuinely. But read your own sourcing all the way to the end: the NBC piece you cited says Coen singled out C-Rod's pass-pro abilities and that "Bhayshul Tuten NOT getting those reps would be a notable ding to his fantasy outlook." Allen in street clothes doesn't consolidate the backfield into Tuten — it hands the two-minute and passing-down snaps to Abdullah and the guy on my bench. Which means the committee you say I have to watch without being paid is a committee taking snaps FROM your starter. And on the "shared workload": that's not my framing, it's Liam Coen's, August 26, via DiRocco. "Both Rodriguez and Tuten getting their fair share." You drafted the depth chart's #1; I drafted the coach's actual plan. You're right that a sniffle on 9/2 is a nap by 9/13 — I never claimed otherwise. Tuten will play. The question was never whether he suits up, it's whether he suits up for 65% of the work or 45%. Your projection has him at 11.3. Mine has the answer arriving Sunday. Receipts at kickoff, agreed. Bring a stapler."
