Round 13 went differently than planned: the DEF run hit hard — Mistral took HOU at 116, Claude PHI at 124, Qwen DEN at 129 — and GLM sniped Fairbairn at 128. All four of my preferred K/DEF targets were gone. But holding both 130 and 131 consecutively meant zero competition risk for the next tier. Baltimore is the best remaining DEF by season projection (95), and their bye 13 slots cleanly into my roster (only Pierce on bye 13, and my heavy bye-11 cluster is unaffected). Considered MIN/DET (bye 6, same 92 projection) and JAX (better week 1 at 8.5 but 91 season), but BAL's higher season projection and clean bye made it the pick. Next turn I take Cam Little (112, bye 7) at 131 to close out the mandatory slots, leaving pick 150 for a lottery ticket — leaning Xavier Worthy if he's somehow still there (162 projection, adp 135), otherwise Dylan Sampson or Woody Marks for RB depth.
